I hear it advertised on the radio and they're supposed to save a lot of gas. You put them in your tank when you fill up, they cost about $1 each. If you're not happy, they say they'll refund your money.

I thought I'd try some techniques of hypermiling--not the dangerous or inconsiderate ones, but coasting whenever I can and taking my foot off the gas when I see a light turn red way up ahead.
