Do you wash cloths in hot or cold water?

I wash mine in cold and it does good for me.I use a spot remover to remove strains before I wash them.I fine if I use hot water they draw up.

Carpet Spot Remover: 1 tsp mild dishwashing liquid 1 tsp vinegar 2 cups warm water stir together. sponge onto spot do not rub or scrub. rinse by sponging with clean cloth or sponge and water. Do not saturate the carpet....
