Tomorrow I go to North Bay Children Center (where I hope to be working soon) to observe how they do things in the toddler class. That will be from 10:15-11:15 a.m.
When I come home, I hope to get at least an hour of cleaning done...

At five months postpartum with my now two year old, I ended up pregnant again.
Thankfully though, this pregnancy's morning sickness symptoms but didn't last as long as the last, even with starting out as bad.
However, I did...

Today at work I did some more...

Finally decided to take tomorrow off. First day off in a month. Got the two babies so maybe we’ll head off to the beach. Can’t think of much else to do anyway. Suggestions?

Has anyone else ever noticed the m0re toys you give kids to -lay with the less interested? We’ve not spent any money on many toys lately and recently I ordered one for each of my boys. And they’re much more attentive to the ONE...

I'll do some MyLotting this evening. And maybe some more work on that book I'm trying to write. Maybe I'll post...

Petulant isn't a new word to me, although it's not one that I've ever used.
I'm pretty sure I'd heard the definition of it before too.
I've become reacquainted with petulance in the past few years.
I have four granddaughters,...

My husband and I have noticed that Eli really gets distracted when he is signing his name in his book at school in the mornings. All he has to do is write his first, middle, and last name and then he's done. What should only...

There were two toddlers on the bus last night, their buggies creating a corridor that only thin people could fit through. Both of them were being kept occupied by videos on mobile phones. When one of the phones was removed from...

It was so different with my first born 10 years ago as it is today when it comes to preschools. Apparently they are very particular with the age for the appropriate level for schooling. If way back it depended on when your child...

I am something of a professional parent, but most of the children I've worked with have been between the ages of one and 12. I have never parented a teen. My friend, who had her own issues with anorexia and depression in college,...

I've talked in previous about a young friend of mine who has "expressive aphasia." He understands English perfectly (no receptive aphasia), and expresses his needs well using grunts, gestures and a bit of sign language. He is 2...
