like buying a new car, buying a new computer means you're getting that machine that doesn't already have problems. while it may be a cheaper to buy a used or refurbished computer, it may not be compatible with your software. some...

I know that one of the best things we can do for our pocketbook and the environment is to buy things used. Does this also apply to laptop computers? How would you go about finding a *good* used or reburbished laptop?
