Is a Turnip a Rutabaga or is a Rutabaga a Turnip in your grocery stores? When I was a young girl living in Atlantic Canada; a Turnip looked like what I now know to be a Rutabaga in Western Canada. This baffled me for a long time...

Why does Olive oil figure in most salads?

Olive oil, one of the most sought after oil by health freaks, if one is permitted to use the word -freak-, is also one of the most expensive of edible oils. Why do people use Olive oil in most salads? What makes it so special?
