painted trim old wood solid oak, ugh it's painted, those walls are plaster, don't try to hang that key holder to the wall anytime soon or without proper information. the walls crumble upon trying to hammer a nail in there. Not really studs like today but lathe is back behind these old walls

This old house has a unique kitchen and great newer ammenities that they even forget in new homes now sometimes, like a double sink. Or deep double sinks, the frig has been replaced since the picture was taken. Rented

Me and my husband when we still lived in the old house. That was at least 4 years ago. The house has been tore down since then.

This is Jasper in our old house. He is our biggest dog and our second oldest. He is 9 years old.

White 2 story house

This property is owned by My husband and I. It's a old 2 story, 2 flat dwelling, in downtown Monroe, Wisconsin. It has radiators in every room, many of them very unique, we purchased it December 19th 1996. We rented it from the fall of 1988 until we bought it. It was first built in 1888. So the year we moved it it was 100 years old. Since it was built it had many additions added to it. It has old home charm they don't seem to know how to make anymore. Or choose not to spend on building these days. We remodeled a old huge 300 square foot porch into a 3rd bedroom, hall and first floor laundry in 1997. We now live in South Carolina, and still rent it out. It had all new windows installed in 2006, and had a lead abatement done, and new furnace and water heater installed. At that time also it was insulated throughout. It's for sale for 120,000 at the time of this writing. If You want to buy a home in Monroe Wisconsin it's a great home.

This old house has a floor to ceiling top floor apartment with floor to ceiling windows. They should have been safety windows, but they are new now, and some have a plexiglass cover for prevention of little children falling out of them.
