This plant has only been in my possession for two days.
I thought I would treat myself, and ordered it on Walmart delivery, and this is the plant they brought me.
I would have already taken it back, but I've been so sick, which...

I went out on the patio and cut/pulled up the tomato plant, plus got rid of a broken bucket that was out there.
The sun is out today , so I may be ablet to do a bit of walking.

The plants on the patio needed watering badly. Way to much wilting and brown leaves out there.
I don't even know if we'll have a first frost the way this crazy weather is, but I'll keep watering the plants until we...

I was out watering the plants, and noticed that there were more little green spheres on my tomato plant. I'm going to have a lot to share.
The weather outside is nice, for me. The little temperature widget in...

A neighbor had given me a mint sprig off of her plant to put in water. When I looked at it (I think it was last week) the plant was dried up but it had sprouted roots...

We drove 9 hours to be with friends in Melbourne and decided to visit a flower festival on Saturday. It was spectacular! There was a riot of colors and everything was beautiful. Here's a little sneak peek into one section. My...

My partner is especially fond of cherries. And neither of us is keen on mowing the grass (bear with me here!) So we tentatively decided a while ago that we would dig out some of the grass and plant a row of cherry trees...

Recently, I have started to reduce food waste at home. The food scraps are being planted, like the bases of cabbages, carrots, eggplants, etc. This morning, I was so glad to see my tomatoes growing fast. In time, I can harvest...

The other day @JudyEv and @rebelann were discussing propagating plants.
That brought up the subject of cuttings and then today I was looking at some of the ones I took a few weeks ago – can’t remember exactly when, sorry. These...

I used to be really good at propagating plants. My mother used to say that I was like her mother, who would stick a bit of something in the ground and it would grow. Many of the plants in my garden are derived from cuttings from...

I know if I was living in Avon Ohio and there was a foul odor in the air I would be concerned about getting ill from the fumes in the air.
The officials with the City of Avon Fire Department did find the cause of the foul odor...

These are the usual lantana flowers before they start blooming. I'm always amazed by the symmetrical design and exquisite beauty in the patterns here - the way the tiny flowers and buds are arranged and the beautiful distribution...

…is that it isn’t easy to tell if you have the right plant!
Last autumn I saw some ornamental grasses for sale in one of the supermarkets, Lidl or Aldi, I can’t remember which. The prices seemed good so I bought a selection of...
