Well, I've been looking for active communities to join and honestly have had little success in doing so. I somehow stumbled upon MyLot and browsed a lot of the conversations and noticed how friendly many of the people are here...

So this evening after a tough day at work I decided to go for a run. I ran for about 2.25 miles and now I'm soooore! I'm looking forward to running/walking more often. Any advice or tips on how I can stay motivated to keep on...

Joshua Lame is a bit harsh. I left the Marine Corps in 2011 and have health issues because of it. That being said while I was in the Marine Corps I was easily running 3-5 miles without issue.
