My First Time Here!

Well, I've been looking for active communities to join and honestly have had little success in doing so. I somehow stumbled upon MyLot and browsed a lot of the conversations and noticed how friendly many of the people are here so after about a day I decided to sign up!
To give a little background on myself:
I have a beautiful wife, a little girl (7), a little boy (4) and another due in November. I am a IT Network Administrator as my day job but my hobbies include web design, web development, game design and development.
What I'm not too sure of is what do I talk about here? Do I just poor out my thoughts? Discuss something I think is neat and interesting? Any advice here would be great.
Otherwise, I can't wait to make new friends and look forward to meeting everyone!

The first step for all newbies is to read the Guidelines to learn what is allowed or not on the site. Then you can write a post introducing yourself. Tell us a bit about yourself.
Furthermore, read around as much as you can, Like and Comment on other members' posts. Only then will members come to your site and do the same. This is called interaction.
Don't expect too much money-wise. If you reach $5 a month (the payout limit), you can call yourself lucky.

Welcome on board.I'm also relatively new here but I can say that people are very friendly and accommodating.I am sure someone might have sent you the dos and don'ts so follow those and you will be okay.
I'm not sure you can meet everyone as your last statement says due to geographic mobility but if you can then it would be awesome.
