Military Civilians

rdhick00 @rdhick00 (75) • United States 16 Nov 06

I had to air this one. Anyone who has served in the military may have had the opportunity to work for a civilian at one time or another. The fact that they are put in charge of military personnel without any kind of training...

Carzgofast I can totally understand your thoughts on this. That all said, the people in those positions*should* have had some sort of training, or they wouldn't have risen to the "rank" they are - to even be PUT in charge of others - military or civilian alike. I know...

who convert to a religion because they love someone in that religion?

3 responses

Carzgofast Well, I will not judge someone who does that. What I will say is that I wouldn't be able to do that. Not unless I already agree with the religion in question. I must stay true to myself and my beliefs. If I try to be something else other than who I am, I am...

Carzgofast I eat a variety. It's not always the same. But, as a general rule, it is probably going to be a cereal bar, muffin, or something of the sort. Right now, I am doing Weight Watchers, and so just have something nice and healthy with as few points as possible....

I always add them just in case, but want to know if it's wasting my time.

Carzgofast Ya know what, I'm not sure. I just add them to help the particular post get more views. I'm sure it helps them more than it helps me. But, here's to hoping that someone will return the favor when I make posts!!:)

Carzgofast I think it works for some. I see it as an interesting thing. It can turn out really good, or not so good. It's really all about each individual. It CAN work out, but it can also be scary!

Carzgofast Both my kiddos preferred nursing over a bottle any day. I am happy that I was able to nurse them both. I think it is best, but I know that not all people are able to nurse. They shouldn't be judged for that. I am just glad I had the opportunities. :)

Do you like to drink through straws or straight from the can?

lbinkley @lbinkley (1075) • United States 12 Nov 06

I like to drink through straws when I have a coke or pepsi. I just started doing it recently, and I find that I don't drink as much when I do that! I have cut my pop/soda intake in half!

Carzgofast That's kind of funny. I drink coke straight from the can. Now, if I go out to eat, however, I must use a straw! LOL Well, not must, but I really prefer it. I don't actually like drinking the coke with a straw when it's in the can. Interesting question!
