Jim Bauer Some people come and go. Many have left altogether. It's still a great site and great community with lots of great people. But like many have said, life does happen and of course it takes precedence over a place like myLot. Hope to see more of you around here,...

Just sent my resume to a couple of email addresses after trying for some time to tweak my resume via a stubborn program (one of the things I was distracted by while typing my previous post). While I was doing that, I got a...

I am not a very good typist. Plus my keyboard is worn down, so I can't always see what I am typing. And some of my keys work "sometimes." I tend to re-read my posts and comments before submitting them. But I still wind up with...

How out of touch can one be as Whoopi Goldberg? She's just like us? She's busting her butt struggling to buy groceries right along with us? Is she serious? You know, sometimes she says some pretty crazy things, but how can...

MARILYN That statement is beyond absurd. How can she relate to anyone struggling with paying for groceries? I bet she wouldn't even be able to tell you the price of eggs these days and I also doubt it's been awhile since she's stepped into a supermarket.

Jim Bauer That brings another question, doesn't it? When's the last time she cleaned her house or went shopping? I am sure she has people to do that for her.

luisadannointed I think you can adjust, and beside you can do video call to say hi to your friends from your old town. I am so happy for you and your family to finally have a home and settling there for good. Enjoy the weekend.
