Seriously, why would I start a discussion about the much maligned Miss California in the politics interest? I know that question is coming so I thought I'd address it preemptively. I apologize for answering a question with another...

ElaanR2 I was appalled by Perez Hilton's reaction to her response and I'm glad that as a Christian she didn't go down that dirty path. However, I still believe that a contest that puts the body on display is a contest that anybody who was raised to believe that...

ElaanR2 Miss California had a right to free speech and she exercised it. Perez Hilton has a right to free speech and he exercises it. The media has a right to publish whatever they consider to be news and they exercise it. The people have a right to condemn whatever...

Of course we've all heard about Obama and his "pallin' around with a terrorist" from none other than Sarah Palin, but for some reason neither she nor John McCain ever mention McCain's own terrorist associations, in his case not...

ElaanR2 That is exactly why you won't see Obama or Biden mention John Singlaub nor ask McCain to 'answer serious questions about his past' in the same way that Palin and McCain have mentioned Ayers and asked Obama to answer questions about his past. What past is...

ElaanR2 I also don't see how you can compare someone who sat in the congregation of a pastor who said racist things with someone whose name was actually on the letterhead of an organization that has Nazi connections. An organization that sponsored death squads in...

ElaanR2 Although Obama's campaign knew these things about McCain, they thought the most important thing for the American people are the issues so they did not use these to attack McCain. These are only now coming up because people want to prove that McCain is just a...

ElaanR2 When McCain's first negative ads hit the markets, it was here on mylot that many conservatives defended it, saying it was fair game. They apparently thought Obama was going dismiss the negative ads section of the campaign as a spectator sport. As Obama...

ElaanR2 The fact of the matter is where did it all start? You can't call Obama divisive when it was Sarah Palin who decided to talk about affiliations. Now, talking about affiliations, do you know Keating? Do you know Rick Davis? And do you know John Singlaub? These...

In this election the only thing that I am sure of is that neither candidate impresses me greatly. I think Obama would be a good choice if he wasnt so busy playing the issues. By this I mean the race issue and the victim issue. He...

ElaanR2 Unlike you, I like them both. What I hate, however, is the politics that plays on ignorance. When a community is under stress, playing on ignorance can have terrible consequences. In 1914, a student shot Prince Ferdinand in Sarajevo and the whole world went to...

ElaanR2 If you mean that hurting a white person alone is what constitutes terrorism, I don't care whether you're moderate or whatever because you could be lying about that. There used to be 'arson' in this country before 9/11 happened. What I'm trying to state is that...
