Do you think that Neo had to die in the cause to save the world????

sagarapte2005 @sagarapte2005 (7) • India 9 Jan 07

I feel that Killing neo and trinity at the end was something real harsh. Though it shows that Neo has returned to his source, he is a human in anyway. So why wasnt he let alone and go back home victorious?????And to make the...

GryphonsAerie I think the jury is still out on whether he died or not. When the machines took his body away it was glowing with golden source code. We know that Neo can exist independently of his body, as in him being in the Matrix and not jacked in. A friend of mine who...

Is Enya still together? Are they touring?

chunkers @chunkers (1050) • United States 3 Dec 06

This is one of my all-time favorite groups! Yet, I've never heard of them being on tour. Does anyone know if and when they will be touring?

GryphonsAerie The "something" missing in her live performances is due to the fact that on her recordings it is her voice singing every part. In the studio they record each part separately and then multi-layer her tracks one over the other. In live performance it is...

GryphonsAerie Enya is one person - not a group. She has the assistance of Nicky and Roma Ryan, who help produce her music. She uses a multi-layered "overdub" effect that layers her voice together as she sings each different part. As far as I know Enya only does select...

GryphonsAerie Celtic music may be "new" for you, but that particular genre has been around for quite a while. :) Try some of the "founders" that laid the groundwork for what we have today: Tommy Makem and the Clancy Bros, the Tannahill Weavers, the Chieftains, Clannad, Andy...

GryphonsAerie It was added in on the extended version, but it doesn't happen until after the Battle for Minas Tirith, and Sauron somehow "knows" about Aragorn and Arwen because he shows Aragorn a vision of Arwen dead or dying in retaliation for Aragorn taunting him with a...

GryphonsAerie I saw Braveheart in the theater/cinema on its opening weekend. I went as part of a group, with all members being part of the Society for Creative Anachronism, so we were dressed as Scots and English. I myself was in kilt, with medieval sandals, ring belt and...

GryphonsAerie I would pick teleportation, because to begin with I would never have to rely on mechanical transportation again, I would never have to purchase a car, pay for gas, tags, license, taxes, etc., and because (a little bit of the Robin Hood in me) I would never...

GryphonsAerie The omission of the Old Forest, Tom Bombadil, and the Barrow Wights didn't bother me that much either, because if you look at the plotline linearly, that whole sidestory is a linear "hiccup". It did nothing to advance the plot and in the outside world nothing...

GryphonsAerie Try turkey bacon, it has around 50% less fat than pork bacon, produces less grease in the pan, cooks more evenly, and doesn't burn as readily. After it is cooked it stays chewy instead of becoming deep-fat crisped. I've been using it now for about a year and...

GryphonsAerie I tent camp, but it is more correct to call my type of tent a pavillion. It is a white canvas medieval pavillion, 12x12, 6 foot high corner poles, and a 10 foot high center pole, purchased from Panther Primitives. It is floorless, so I start by laying down a...
