Is my money his money? (my boyfriend)

for3verfamous @for3verfamous (2190) • Canada 18 Jun 11

When you're married or in a serious relationship.. Do you keep your financial situations separate.. Or is their money yours, and your money is theirs? This is an issue I'm having with my boyfriend. I know we are going to get...

KingLobster I don't believe in money sharing. You have to keep finances apart. This is just something that too many people are too easily tempted to fight over. It can also cause issues that may not result in direct fighting but rather some feelings of resentment. This is...

What Teens Can Do To Invest Money

KingLobster @KingLobster (219) • United States 12 Jun 11

Investing is almost always a conversation that is limited to what adults do in the market. While their percentages are small, there are some teens that are interested in getting invested as well. If you were to give tips to teens...

KingLobster I didn't even think about some teens trying to do this kind of thing. I suppose that is just because it is so far from my realm of possibilities of even thinking to do something like that. However, you do have a very good point. It is quite possible that some...

KingLobster A very good take here. I agree that teens need to save what they are able to make to put towards school. Those that are able to afford school and still have some left over (a very small number of teens) should put that extra money to work in the market. A...

Is Making Money The Most Important Thing To You?

KingLobster @KingLobster (219) • United States 12 Jun 11

Some say that there are more important things in life than money, but these are often people who do not have money. So, the question remains, are there more important things than making money?

6 responses

KingLobster It seems to be the general emotion on this question that money is not the most important thing in life. I am glad that people feel this way. I feel that we always say that money is not the most thing in life, but most of us do not act this way on a day to day...

KingLobster That is pretty cool. I had never even thought about using stumbleupon before. Perhaps I will give this a try with some of my own work. It couldn't hurt anything to put some work on there. Thanks for the comment.

Should children be able to get an allowance?

KingLobster @KingLobster (219) • United States 12 Jun 11

KingLobster It sounds to me like you are doing exactly that. I say keep up the good work that you have already started. There is absolutely no reason for you to change up anything that you have been doing. Best of luck to you as you continue on this path.

KingLobster Marketing yourself on facebook is a good idea. I do this every now and then with some of my writing. I just try not to do it too often. I am afraid that I would start to annoy some people if I put too many status updates up about my writing alone.
