Which is easier - knitting or crochet?

Elizabeth White @Masihi (4413) • Canada 25 Sep 11

I'm wondering this because I just know the basic stitches of both crochet and knitting, but personally I'm thinking knitting is easier to get a handle of, but on the other hand, crochet seems to be easier to make simple projects...

Stjarntydarna My paternal grandmother taught me the basics of knitting. So, I know how to knit a blanket. I've since then taught myself how to crochet one year ago. After a year and having two small boys around the house, crocheting is the way to go. You're only responsible...

Ice Tea or Iced Tea?

bingskee @bingskee (5234) • Philippines 20 Sep 11

Some say there is no difference, but there is. I do not want to sound like a guru. It just don't sound or read right to me. The tea is the subject or the object, and 'iced' is the adjective, as I see it. If...

macdingolinger I am not sure that it matters too much. They both mean the same thing and it may rely more on where you are actually from rather than what is grammatically correct. I think I usually say, "Ice TEa" rather than iced tea. And if I am not mistaken restaraunts...

sharra1 Your hair grows half and inch a month at its best. I think that the longer it grows the slower it gets. I have been told by hairdressers that if you do not cut it you just end up with damaged ends and thin ends since it is all growing at the same rate. I...

Aoi Hana @swirlz (3136) • Philippines 11 Jun 11

I did run out of shampoo when I took a bath this morning. So instead I used my body wash! And I used my body puff as well. lol! It was weird. I know, I should have just poured the body wash straight into my hair but the puff was...

Chevee Hi Janebernal, if this is heavy on your mind I think you should sit down and talk to your daughter about this. Maybe God is putting this on your mind for a reason. Not saying that it is on your daughter's mind but it will put your mind at ease somewhat. Let...

When speaking English, it's ok to refer to "Allah" as God.

ParaTed2k @ParaTed2k (22936) • Sheboygan, Wisconsin 2 Jul 11

I notice a lot of Muslims in the U.S. get up in arms if people say "God" instead of "Allah", even when speaking English. These Muslims seem to forget (or just didn't know) that Allah is Arabic, not English. When speaking...

Galena I think that a lot of monotheistic English speakers forget that the word "God" isn't a name, but more like a description of WHAT they are. not who they are. absolutely any deity can be referred to as God, because the two words are the same thing. a God is a...

maean_19 I certainly agree with you. We have to consider that "Allah" and "God" are synonymous. It is just a religious terminologies. Hence, Allah, God, Yahweb, Lord Almighty are one and the same. It is just a matter of language translation.
