When Nellie the Elephant packed her trunk and trundled off to the circus..

Wizzywig @Wizzywig (7847) 26 Apr 10

... what do you reckon she took with her? I'm guessing at shower gel, body brush, her best hat & an RSPCA official to safeguard the welfare of all the animals. What do you think she should've/would've taken? What would YOU...

Michael Jackson credit score....come on, really?

MizzLadyB08 @MizzLadyB08 (1174) • United States 30 Aug 09

I am pretty sure everyone has heard about the website TMZ. Well, just a few minutes ago I was on their website browsing and came across a story about MJ's credit score. The website was saying that he had a low credit score but...

Citychic I agree that MJ's credit score is nobody's business, so why not just let it drop and let the dead rest in peace! Being that everyone is entitled to their own opinion, why is it such a difficult thing to keep one's opinion to their self? Particularly when it...

Superbowl

maddragon @maddragon (17) • United States 20 Oct 08

There have been quite a few disappointments in the first few games. Many of the teams I thought had a good shot at the Superbowl in pre-season, turned out to be stinkers. Who do you think will go to the Superbowl in 2009?

Wizzywig OK, I'll be honest and say that I think a lot of 'poetry' people send to sites like this is cr*p - but your isn't! I love the imagery you've used. It's powerful and original. Keep writing. best wishes.

kathy lee gifford's "nasty bad pagans" comment

GavinKaos Wasn't out of line? If you say so. Wicca for example is classified as pagan, and they are recognized as as a legal religion by the united states. You'd definitely have a problem with someone saying the same about Christianity. Religious intolerance is as bad...

Wizzywig I wasn't knocking anyones choice of reading matter. Each to his/her own. I just have a bit of a thing about the whole concept of 'celebrity' . (But I guess you probably picked up on my subtle clues there, eh?)

Wizzywig Oh no!! I really couldn't care less who's sha**ing who, whether they have 'piled on' an extra 6ounces after eating a burger/ developed a zit/ saddled their baby with some ridiculous name; how they've done their hair or what they are wearing. As for 'celebrity'...

Thrift stores... for them or against them?

katsmeow1213 @katsmeow1213 (28716) • United States 28 Jun 08

I can't say enough good about thrift stores, especially since I shop for 5 kids. I go to my local thrift store every couple weeks and just browse. Typically I don't need anything, but that's the best time to go. I will buy winter...

Wizzywig I went in just this morning. As you say, its a good place to browse as you never know what you'll find there. Our town is only small but we have 3 - The Red Cross; Samaritans and Douglas MacMillan Cancer charity. I've bought all sorts of stuff there over the...

Tax on fuel

Wizzywig @Wizzywig (7847) 28 Jun 08

Wizzywig I hope your children don't read this ;o) The phrase 'wouldn't be so bad' is very sad and the reason for that being that they could help you with cleaning seems even more sad - you are talking 'tongue-in-cheek' here, right? Sorry but I cannot understand why...
