Happy Juneteenth; This recently added holiday makes federal workers happy I am sure. It reflects the liberation of the slaves, a happy day indeed. For most of us it is just another day banks are closed and the mail doesn't run.

NJ Chicaa I don't get it as a federal holiday. I'm sure Trump will rescind it like tomorrow. "Juneteenth" was when the last part of southern Texas slaves learned that the Civil War was over and they were free.
