Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 37 degrees F and dark here at the Jersey Shore. Yikes. The high for today is 60. I will *not* be opening up the windows! I woke up at 4am and was like "what the hell?"...

BarBaraPrz @NJChicaa Thanks anyway. Juanita intimated yesterday that she might come down on Tuesday, so she can take me to the grocery store.

The sun is trying to poke through now (Noon). But it's been a dreary and cool morning. We won't break 70 F today. Still, I got my dishes in, practiced some guitar, and will vacuum before I run a brief errand. Wheee! How is your...

Yesterday they were cancelled supposedly because the GOP candidates were doing so well. It was announced that he would hold 19 tele-rallies instead to reach more people. Today they decided that Trump *would* go to both states this...

The Horse @NJChicaa It's so odd how Trump repeats pretty much the same garbage every speech. I doubt the candidates want him anywhere near them at this point.

I decided not to vote via mail service. Why? Because I just can't trust it here. We never know when, or IF, something will be delivered. That left the options of early voting or waiting until the day to vote, which is Tuesday,...

Marie Coyle @NJChicaa Most of the teachers I know do a version of what you are doing--they have snacks stashed somewhere, as they have children in their classes that are hungry. Hard to do anything at school when you're hungry. I know it's an expense, but it's really...

Marie Coyle @NJChicaa It makes sense to have a coffee machine there, but I would be lost without a way to make coffee at home. As for the guy who shares the prep room with you, does he partake of any of the goodies in there?

Marie Coyle @NJChicaa I thought of that. The only bad thing about that plan is that it’s going to be a very long day. Maybe even a three cups of coffee day.

Marie Coyle @NJChicaa It bothers me a lot that it’s so apparent many of the kids are not being taught to be respectful of anyone- not just teachers or anyone else. And they think they are going to die if they don’t have the phone in their hand!
