What are the little things you love about fall?

Patricia @PatriciaL (2080) • United States 10 Nov 15

Fall is a very close second to my favorite season, Spring. What are some little things that you love about this season? A couple for me would be wearing cozy hoodies(I get excited about finally being able to pull them out again,...

Controversy Over STARBUCKS Christmas Cups

Mary Ann @therealmaryyy (3160) • Philippines 10 Nov 15

Boycott Starbucks over their Christmas cups? WHY? I've had a couple of Starbucks early on this month and I don't see anything wrong with the cup. It is even better! I like the simplicity of it and the color. This is what I...

much2say There are SO many other concerns, bigger ones, about our planet - I mean, really - is THIS cup design really worth all the stink it's been given? It's the Starbucks logo on a plain red cup - big deal. Some people will just read into anything and twist it...

When do you take your decorations down?

Patricia @PatriciaL (2080) • United States 15 Nov 06

Well I've seen topics about when you put your Christmas decorations up. But when do you take them down? I usually take mine down no later than the end of the first week of January. Ideally Jan. 1-2.

hillbillyheart We usually don't take them down until the first week in January. Last year we took them down before going away for the holiday. I was kind of glad too because we didn't have to come home tired from traveling and fool with taking all of it down. I don't know...

Do you love chitlins?

Patricia @PatriciaL (2080) • United States 5 Dec 06

I absolutely love them. I like eating mine with some hot sauce. I'm having some tonight for dinner. Chitlins, also known as Chitterlings are pig intestines. Mostly eaten in the South. I know it sounds gross. I thought so too many...

Danniet Na, just don't think I could do it. I guess it's kind of like eating scrapple, It's not too bad but I don't want to know what's in it. I am pretty picky so I am not usually up for trying new things but more power to you.

hillbillyheart I'm sorry, but I really don't think that I could "choke" them down. Now, I've eaten a lot of different foods and changed some things about myself since I married a Southerner, but I have to draw the line somewhere. You certainly enjoy yourself though!

How many of you here like grits? I absolutely love them! I haven't met many people that didn't like them. They are delicious. You can have them with butter, cheese, sugar, etc.

tentwo67 I don't care for plain grits, but there are a couple of restaurants in my town that serve "doctored up" grits that are very tasty. One seafood restaurant does cheesy garlic grits that are wonderful!!! Also, we used to keep instant grits with bacon bits in...

crystal8577 I got remarried & our girls were 3 & 18 months. My 3 y/o got scared & ended up walking me down the aisle at the last moment with my dad. She also at one point stood between DH & I holding our hands at the alter. I love to look at the pictures & video.

SophiesMommy @SophiesMommy (1288) • United States 7 Dec 06

I put mine in a jar. I can't stand carrying around change. I don't ever take the time to count it out when paying for something so it's better if I put it in the jar and then we cash it out every couple months at a Coinstar.
