Off to the dentist

Rhombus @Rhombus (348) • South Africa 16 Aug 19

For the first time in my life I'm actually looking forward to the visit, with the prospect of the pain being eliminated - it feels a little like Christmas. I have to spare a thought for those in the profession, people never want...

Retail - a tough occupation

Rhombus @Rhombus (348) • South Africa 26 Aug 18

It’s not easy being employed in retail. Dealing with unrealistic expectations all day, rude customers who treat staff earning minimal wages badly. The other downside the lack of weekends and family time. Do customers ever...

Rhombus @Rhombus (348) • South Africa 14 Dec 17

Ok, so 2018 brings a new job opportunity for me and I have decided I shall start my new career as a NON smoker. I type this as I casually light a cigarette - as soon as I think about stopping I seem to light up (there is no...

What is everyone making? We have not decided what we will be doing, so looking for a little inspiration. With it being summer here, we will probably have a late lunch/early dinner.

Mylot timeline?

Rhombus @Rhombus (348) • South Africa 26 Aug 17

Does Mylot have a timeline feature (not sure if I missed it, I did try and look). For example, if someone posts that their town is being evacuated, can I see when it was posted? I know it's not a news site, but is there a way to...

One food item for the rest of your life?

Rhombus @Rhombus (348) • South Africa 11 Aug 17

I was asked what food I would choose today by a ten year old. It has to be one item, like beef (not a hamburger). I finally chose pork (bacon, chops etc etc), although potatoes was a close second. What would you choose, and...

Stopping smoking

Rhombus @Rhombus (348) • South Africa 17 Jul 17
