Juliaacv I am sorry that she has to have the surgery, but it is usually better to avoid 'reminding' anyone with AD of anything as the conversation will usually end on a bitter note.

Well, this is unfortunate. Lately, my stepmom has had a rash of UTIs. She had one last year we thought was a stroke. She got dizzy, started losing vision in one eye…a visit to the ER showed it to be a UTI. I posted about that in...

Eva James I was always told to have a good friend you need to be one. But not everyone responds back in kind. I lost my best friend from school to cancer about a year ago. She was the one that we could lose touch and then come back together like time had not passed.
