Am I the only one who doesn't want to change Operating System?

I have windows XP but I know that, sooner or later, I'm going to be forced to update to Vista. For example I'm planning to buy a new laptop and they only sell it with Vista. Windows XP is too good to change it!

ahamid me not going to change from xp to vista. they're making an Windows XP SP3 update coming out this year :) In XP SP3 apparently they're making xp even faster and more reliable than SP2...

ahamid i would have to say windows xp. vista is too buggy and takes tooooo much resources from your computer. alson ot a lot of programs work on vista yet.

DSL or others?

My friend told me that DSL works best on internet cafes where you have more than one computer. Is that true? Which connection do you have or prefer? Which is the fastest and best to use? thanks

ahamid DSL is good but if you have access to Cable or FiOS, get them. I have a 30 MB Cable line....insane speeds! It's bascially like a T1 and i only pay about $65 a month. It only went down once in about 1.5 yrs for like 2-3 hours for service upgrades probably.

ahamid Vista is HORRIBLE and windows xp is soooooo much better. Vista's #1 competition is Windows XP, true fact! I like windows XP a lot better. Less system resources need.

ahamid anti-viruses do slow down your computer just like any other program. every program needs to use RAM space to run so in that sense it slows down your computer. AOL, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc. all slow down ur computer...

ahamid I use NOD32, takes up a lot less resources than Norton and McAfee and all those other anti viruses. It also find a lot of viruses. Won a lot of awards and stuff. www.eset.com for more info

yes it's crazy but do you get into using spell check when you are on the computer? i am so obsessed with it and can't help it. i want to make sure people are understanding what i talk about when i message them. i even used it...

ahamid i spell check on papers and stuff and firefox does the red thingy so that helps online. but on forums and stuff, sometimes i dun care too much about spell check. if ppl can understand with the IM language, than thats good enough 4 me.

ahamid my basic rule: If it sounds too good to be true, then it's too good to be true". $100 per email, wow...never heard of that. usually it's up to $0.05 per email. They would be losing A LOT of money if it were $100 per email. So i would easily have to say that...

ahamid they would go bankrupt but you could make that money with...well come to think of it...there really isn't any way unless you make an internet business. Even with hosting and stuff, most sites don't make enough to pay their bill with ads, and their bills are...
