Macy Thanks, dear. I've been treating myself a lot lately with all sorts of knick knacks. I think I've gone overboard. I'll have to start preparing Christmas gifts now and hunting for clearance sales by October.

Macy Thanks for the reassuring words. I try to not teach this practice to my kids, but I'm a tired adult who wants treats once in a while. I normally work around a budget. If I want something really expensive, I save up for it.

Macy Wouldn't mind getting a scarf or a bag either as long as it's something that I'd use. I splurged again recently and treated myself to some cheap ballpoint pens and gel pens.

Macy It's actually quite sunny today. The weather bureau said good weather will persist until about Sunday afternoon. Then we can expect rains again. I'm hoping that the floods subside before Sunday.

Macy Longganisa would be our native sausage. Most of them are both sweet and savory, but not spicy. The most popular ones are the garlicky longganisa and they're usually made from ground pork.
