eli You have to make sure first that your wife love animals or does she want to have a pet? Its a responsibility. I hope you really think about the idea of gifting a pet. My pets are cats. Always has been since I was a kid.

Starla N Please also take into consideration... can she afford to take care of one? Will she be home enough so it isn’t left alone, will she have time to walk it (if a dog).

NJ Chicaa @arielth27 because they may not want the animal. Pets are a lifetime responsibility. They aren’t disposable.

Starla N Dog all the way. I love them so much. I’ve never had a cat but I don’t dislike them, just prefer dogs.
