Finally things are looking up

Sarthak Bhansali @casarthak (33) • Ahmedabad, India 17 Dec 15

I just quit a 7 digit salary job in a multinational construction company in March to start financial consultancy which is unheard of for a 25 year old guy. Not quitting the job but starting a consulting firm at the age of 25....

scheng1 I think you can use the time to get some professional certifications. It will enhance your credibility as a consultant. Since it takes time to build up the reputation, and experience, you have to use paper qualifications to make up for the lack of experience.

How do you motivate yourself when you're feeling lazy?

The Horse @TheHorse (240789) • Walnut Creek, California 10 Dec 15

I'm supposed to be turning in a progress note at work and taking my exam to be copied for Monday. I could also be gathering more disks and branches for my next round of little Christmas trees. Instead, I'm sitting here sipping...

Is it difficult to be nice to mean people

sofs @sofssu (23640) 11 Dec 15

I was watching a show that proved it is difficult to be nice to mean or rude people. A careless and impolite sales assistant handed way too much cash back to the customers.. and most people decided to pocket the extra cash and...

Since the past 4 years, I have maintained a playlist and I am completely bored of it. Of course the songs in it have rotated, added and deleted but the classics were retained and now I hate the songs I loved. Since this is a...

YoghurtGal Well I don't even bother with creating a playlist for my phone anymore. I just tune in to spotify to discover new songs. My current favorite at the moment is "Locked Away" by Adam Levine. It's a very relaxing and happy song.

Youtube Of The Day – Sparky’s Magic Piano

Arthur Chappell @arthurchappell (44572) • Preston, England 10 Dec 15

This audio recording from 1947 is possibly one of the scariest children’s stories of all time. It is essentially a short audio book as the music and sound is essential to its narrative. Sparky is a child taking piano lessons...

The Horse @TheHorse (240789) • Walnut Creek, California 8 Dec 15

The thought of "going to the Mall" right now mortifies me. The first thing that comes to mind is store after store with Christmas decorations, ostensibly honoring the birth of Jesus Christ, but really designed to bring consumers...

Do you have any favorite band or a song that you can relate?

Digital Nomad @VinayaG (550) • Kathmandu, Nepal 7 Dec 15

I love The Wall by Pink Floyd. This song tells about the frustrations related to the societal restrictions, the sadness about being a cog in the wheel. The song expresses the pain of being a puppet.

youless I think it will never be late to do something good for our environment. At least it is better than doing nothing. In fact I already pay attention to my life. I try to use less energy, paper and so on. I will use more environmental products.
