Do you eat before going to the grocery store?

beaniefanatic13 @beaniefanatic13 (5065) • Grand Junction, Colorado 19 Mar 07

I know that there have been many discussions about grocery shopping, but I haven't seen one like this. I noticed that I stick to my list and spend far less at the grocery store when I go on a full stomach. I don't buy a lot of...

Drunk Driving! Is This the Answer?

whiteheather39 @whiteheather39 (24403) • United States 1 Mar 07

We all know that DUI is a serious problem which takes too many lives. Most DUI deaths and serious injuries are caused by repeat offenders. Do you think this is the answer? In some South Dakota counties, people repeatedly...

Parents of 152 pound 4 year old think they are doing right, he is healthy!

ShadyGrove @ShadyGrove (996) • United States 10 Feb 07

The other night on TV I saw Dr. Phil interviewing the parents of a 4 year old who is 152 pounds ( I think that is the correct weight). The dad feels he is a healthy 4 year old. What do you think? Do you think the parents need...

Wanderlaugh I think that if he's healthy, he's a baby rhino. The most worrying thing about this is that people "can" think it's normal. Blubber seems to be an accepted part of life. So infant diabetes, heart problems, and the rest of the atrocity package are...

Stevia instead of sugar, Have you tried it and what did you think?

dreamsncharms @dreamsncharms (1340) • United States 7 Feb 07

Wow was this stuff expensive. $8.54 for a box of 100 packs. They also make it in liquid form but I did not see the liquid at Walmart. I wanted to try something different in my coffee and I think Why not save some calories? It is...

cabergren I have tried Stevia and I like. I realize that is expensive, but worth the price. To have the taste of sugar without actually using is a good thing. And it doesn't have all the phony stuff the artificial sweeteners have. I just love it.

astromama I like stevia in hot beverages, like coffee or hot tea, but it lumps up and won't dissolve properly in cold ones... just a head's up. I worked at a health food restaurant where stevia was available on all the tables and dozens of times I had to replace...

earthsong I just posted about this on another discussion. If the price turns you away go to the local nursery and see if they have a plant you can grow yourself. They work as indoor and outdoor plants, although they do better outdoors, and they are fairly cheap that...

missinghim @missinghim (1339) • United States 9 Feb 07

missinghim I agree that she deserves better. I've been telling her that for years, but she just can't seem to see it. He's living in her house that she pays the rent for, and all of the bills. He does nothing but degrade her (put her down all day), and argue with her....

misskatonic Do you believe everything you read? And I mean that seriously. To people who's faith isn't based on the Bible, the Bible is just a book. It's just words on paper. Without a belief and without faith, the Bible is meaningless. An Atheist doesn't have...
