jaishankar @eliza_godinez12 Actually I had read about it. In the face of a earthquake, if you are in aroom, hide yourself under a table, and, if you are in the market, move to an open space. Don't use lifts, and stress to climb down, switch off all lights etc etc.

jaishankar @eliza_godinez12 That was the only way to save myself. There were buildings on both sides of the road. I knew if they collapsed, I would be in a difficult situation. That's why I rushed to a ground nearby where there were no buildings.

jaishankar @eliza_godinez12 It was a frightening experience. I was unable to think anything. The earth was shaking. I immediately moved to a open space where there was no buildings. However it lasted for a few seconds only without causing any damage.
