girl079 well I already made a few good hundreds from treasure trooper. I have loads of referrals and do really well. Treasure trooper is like a little extra income to me. If I work a little bit harder on referrals I could turn it into a salary!

ESKARENA1 yes you are so right. I remember way back in the 1960s watching Bamby and crying when Bambys mum died, lol. Why? i think disney seem to have a philosophy of bitter sweet kids films, I know old walt had some strange ideas, i wonder if there is anything in his...

hoz9991 Its an interesting thing. I think that children's stories (although they are fantasy) have to contain a bit of reality. This provides the child with a more realistic view in life. Most of the movies deal with deaths as they should be dealt with, after the...

emeraldisle They never showed the mother dieing. She told Bambi to run, which he did and he heard the shot but you never saw the mother die. It was assumed. Where as with Lion King you saw him fall and then Simba went up to him and found him dead. That was what I meant by...

emeraldisle Not all Disney movies have them die in it. 101 Dalmations no one died in it for example. Same with Oliver and Company, Aristocats, Dumbo, Pinoccio and many others. Yes there are many where there were deaths, most up until Lion King were either before the story...

cwgrlsarefun Now that I think about this you are absolutly right. It is always someone important in the movie who has to die. I would think that since these movies are for kids they would not have anyone die.

Myrrdin Oh yes I find it almost a necesity to sneak food in, the prices are so crazy. I do tend to buy the snacks for my daughter because she loves popcorn, but for me I sneak in candy because I am not a popcorn fan, although I still do buy my pop at the movie theatre...

crazynurse Guilty! I empty my purse except for my wallet. I take a granola bar or whatever I would like to have for a snack. I even take a canned drink! I always did that when my children were younger too. There is no way that I am paying what they want for snacks. I...

unusualsuspect I'd bring something to eat if I remembered, but I usually don't. And there's no way I'd spend two or three dollars on a candy bar or five or six dollars for popcorn.

astromama I buy the popcorn but sneak in drinks and candy. Movie popcorn is so good when it's hot and fresh... you can't replicate that with popcorn brought from home. My favorite thing is a tip I picked up from my mom... add a box of hot Tamales to your popcorn for...
