I am back after a few months and see that mylot UI has changed completely. The UI does look much sleeker, but somehow I preferred the older look to this. Also I cannot find the place where the money we have earned shows up? So has...

gwenpinay Well, we're on the same boat. MyLot now looks - and feels like - Twitter! But I must ask, what happened to the earnings we've not taken out before they've discontinued the programme?

I work as an EMT for a private company in NY. See, when I was taking the course, I wasn't aware that a driver license was required, I was just going to school to be a EMT Emergency Medical Technician. However I found this out...

gwenpinay It's tough, I know. But after the period of mourning, you must pick yourself up. Start by working with what you have - your job. You need the license so focus on that one. Forget the short film for a while. You can't cram too many projects at once. If the...

gwenpinay I have a small writing business that's been taking care of the bills for over a year now. It's basically a one-person show. I advertise my services, I respond to inquiries, negotiate rates and write the jobs myself, or pass some on to other writers and split...

Which format do you prefer? Assuming you have access to both formats for whatever book you enjoy reading. Would you rather read Grisham on paperback or on-screen?

I prefer GMail over Yahoo Mail because of the mail thread feature3 and the labels - makes it easier to get organised. However, I can't seem to find a button to embed links in GMail. Besides running GMail on Thunderbird, would you...

I love gravy. Fried chicken is never good without it. However, on a trip to the UAE last year, I was disappointed to find they didn't have gravy in restaurants there, even at KFC. I asked around and was told there's no gravy in...

gwenpinay Yep, that's what I'm looking for - enlightenment. It's not like gravy's illegal, is it? From what I know, you use beef stalk to make gravy. And, there's a lot of British people in the UAE. I wonder what they think of that. Ketchup is just not as good on fried...

I'm trying to make a concious effort to eat a little better, and at more appropriate times. Typically my appetite hits me in the evening, and that's normally when I snack on all sorts of junk food. Regardless how much or how...

gwenpinay Midnight snacking is not the healthiest of eating habits but if you have to, I suggest you pick fruits or light, whole grain snacks, probably even breakfast bars will do. I won't suggest anything greasy or buttery.

My friend told me that she caught her husband texting another woman from his cell phone. 127 texts between them in one month. They even sent pictures of themselves to each other. She confronted her husband with this and he said...

gwenpinay Texting someone isn't cheating per se. But apparently, in this situation, it is. I think it's irrelevant whether the text woman and the hubby in question actually met. Alienation of affection doesn't only happen in person; it happens a lot online.

I'm sure this isn't the first time you've been asked that but it's an interesting question for any discussion. I never really know if I do or don't. I'm never sure if it's love at first sight or is it lust at first flight?

I've just put together my own self-hosted wordpress blog. I've been agonizing over what and how to do it for several months now and I got tired of procastinating so I went ahead. The tutorial I used as a guide suggested Hostgator...

gwenpinay I'm afraid I'm not good at programming. I'm not trained in any of these and I get by learning things by myself. Ah, that's the downside of being cheap, I guess. I'll have a look at Brinkster and see if it's something I can handle. In all fairness, Hostgator...

gwenpinay Yes, I believe so. I never feared dying per se. I guess the inevitable is inescapable and I'm just settled into the thought. The only thing we can control, to some extent, is how we die.
