ElusiveButterfly @ElusiveButterfly (45933) • United States 15 Dec 06

imsandrad If the parent is nearby, I would probably say something like, "Would you please have them stop that. I would hate to see them get hurt." Or on a more harsh note, "You will be held financially responsible for anything they break."

Do any famous people come your town and what do you know about them?

lalav1 @lalav1 (1052) • United States 3 Dec 06

Wyatt Earp was born in my small hometown in Monmouth, Illinois. The house where he was born still stands. He was known for his fight at the Ok Corral with Doc Holliday. Another famous person who lived in Monmouth briefly, was...

imsandrad Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes came here for a visit not too long ago. I didn't go because I wouldn't cross the street to see them, but there was a pretty good crowd according to the paper.
