Yesterday, I got an e-mail saying that my Paypal account was restricted because a third party tried to access it. I went to the website and had to change my security questions and passwords before I could use the site again. I...

dragon54u Those emails are usually scams. Be sure to forward that email to spoof@paypal.com and see if it was, they can tell you. All those kinds of emails that I have received have NOT been from paypal! They set up a site that looks exactly like Paypal and now they...

desertdarlene It was definitely a legitimate e-mail. I actually went on the site by typing in the address and not clicking on any links and the same information was there. I also went on this morning and they had the same information, but I that I had restored my account by...

dragon54u I'm very relieved to hear that! I always forward the emails to them first, and have never had one that was legitimate. I'm glad you weren't scammed!

desertdarlene I always forward them, too. Usually, I go straight to the site by typing the address in and see what's going on. If there's nothing going on there, I will forward the e-mails. There are certain things in the e-mail that tell you it's legitimate, too. They give...

Pitstop Do not click on this link and under no circumstances enter any of your data if you click this link. This is a phishing site and will transmit your username and password to some other people who can break into your paypal account.

desertdarlene I didn't click on the link on the e-mail because I thought it wasn't legitimate, either. But, when I went into the site by typing it in, I was really surprised to find out that this was a legitimate issue and I was able to correct it.

Pitstop Thats exactly how these phishing sites work. If you type in the URL and make sure you're on the actual paypal site its the URL which you use to update info. However clicking the link directly will take you to a very similar looking site.

desertdarlene Paypal forced me to change all my security information and has restored my account. I'm glad they did this because I have no idea what had happened. I rarely give out my Paypal address and all the companies I use it with are legitimate.

bieke81 I love it. I didn't know the layout was changing, so it looked bizar when I opened MyLot yesterday. But after looking around I was very pleased. It's easy to use, looks very easy, and has all the features we need in an easy to locate place.

The yamaha beats them in the long run better parts and less breaking parts. Just because Stewart, the best rider out there is on KX doesn't mean the bike sucks.
