My lil'-sister

marilynlynn @marilynlynn (994) • United States 18 Apr 08

My lil'-sister had open heart, quad by-pass surgery yesterday, and it was the most scary thing I think I've been through in my whole life. Thankfully, she pulled out of it with hardly any problems, and I've yet to see her since...

Grieving Process

SeductiveAnn @SeductiveAnn (39) • United States 12 Mar 08

I'm not really sure how to ask this.... My mother passed away this past December. I realize that there's no set time frame for the grieving process because we all deal with things differently. What I'd like to know is, does...

How can I forgive & forget?

Norfolk_Jim @Norfolk_Jim (214) 12 Mar 08

Some years ago, during a tough period in my marriage, my wife threw her wedding ring down the toilet and flushed it away. She immediately regretted it and I pulled up the drains looking for it but never found it. I bought her a...

barehugs I've been married 52 years to the same woman! I never had a wedding ring, and never missed it. My wife is a nurse, and because rings are unsanitary in a hospital setting she took her ring off, and has never worn it since. We were married in a Church, but that...

firecracker @sacmom (14192) • United States 6 Mar 08

while waiting in line if they have only a few items and you have a full (or almost full) basket of groceries? Or has some offered to let you go ahead of them for this very reason? I'll be the first to admit on here that I...

Attention women of myLot...I have a question for you.

Marcola @Marcola (2774) • United States 4 Mar 08

What mainly draws you to a guy? Looks, personality, sense of humor, high-paying job, huge muscles, lots of cash? What's a major turn-off for you? Cockiness, arrogance, ugliness, neediness? Now I consider myself a fairly attractive...

theprogamer Welcome Kit/Pam. Hope you find it fun here. As for what you've said of social sites I'll say this of the lot. I've been bullied, shamed and shunned. Not only that there's more of an subtle way of doing it via the star rating (but thats not how I've...

Of all men who played James Bond, who was the best?

clowdine @clowdine (1402) • Philippines 4 Mar 08

I already wrote a short review about men who played James Bond and honestly, like them all. But the best I think would still be the original James Bond. That is no less than Sean Connery. What do you think? Who's your bet?

Can you literally die of a broken heart?

PinkFloydFan77 @PinkFloydFan77 (68) • United States 2 Mar 08

Sometimes it feels that way. It's like it wants to stop beating, split into two unrecognizable pieces, set itself on fire and finally crumble to ashes. Has anyone ever felt this way?

Okay, I'm 42 and I already started feeling the effects of the whole, "getting old" thing. So for all of you my age and older, what can I expect to feel like in another 5,10,15,20+ years? I consider myself to be fairly healthy,...

marilynlynn Oh, thanks Kitkat, You are so sweet, I sure wish I could meet you in person one day. I'm still kickin, but just a wee-bit stiffer, then before the age of 40! I'll never forget it, as soon as I turned 40, I swear I could feel it coming on. I changed my pic,...
