Religion in schools

scammerwear @scammerwear (1433) • Singapore 12 Feb 08

Today I'm feeling a bit daring, so I'll walk on egg shells a bit and talk about one of the hottest issues that have been going on for years: Religious education in public school. We all come from different backgrounds and...

The premise of many Christians is that there are no homosexuals.

cyntrow @cyntrow (8523) • United States 26 Oct 07

I am not tryng to inflame. I just seek comments and understanding. I have been told by a number of my Christian friends and family that there are no homosexuals. There are only heterosexuals who are tempted by the devil to do evil...

foxyfire33 I guess my opinion on this would be that there are more confused Christians than there are confused straight people. People are usually pretty clear about what they are attracted to so I don't see how a person could be "confused" about that. I also don't get...

Tell me why homosexuality is wrong without useing the word "God"

II2aTee @II2aTee (2559) • United States 12 Oct 07

I have found that most of the people who see homosexuality as unnatural and wrong, do so only because they interprit the bible to see being gay as a sin. However, I am not a christian. I do not believe the teachings of that...

cyntrow I am pro gay and I do consider myself to be Christian. That said, I don't know why. I do feel that they misinterpret scripture and they use the bible as a weapon. But I do need to use one word that you banned. "God". My God loves all his children. My God loves...

Are you pro or against homosexual adoptions?

Shareaza @Shareaza (315) • Sweden 22 Oct 07

Why does the idea of gay marriage upset so many people?

olaff123 @olaff123 (433) • Namibia 30 Jan 07

cyntrow It's the "ick factor." I stole this term directly from exgaywatch.com. It comes down to the fact that straight america associates GLBT people with what they do in bed. THey don't consider that gays are as much what they do sexually as straights are. That is a...
