In a date, who pays the bills?

Whenever I am on a date, I usually pay my share when the bills come. I want to be percieve by my date to be an independent woman who doesn't need a man to pay for my meals. lol. It this correct? Whats your honest opinion on this?

mestr12 We take turns in paying for our meals whenever my husband and I go out on a date. It is not a fast rule but normally the one who pays for the bill is the one who has money for that particular day. ;)

mestr12 Since I live in a tropical climate I do prefer cold drinks. A cold drink quenches the thirst. However, I do love to sip a hot chocolate drink and snuggle up with a loved one during cold weather. :)

mestr12 I play the piano and I usually play classical pieces. I feel that whenever I play the piano, I am in another world. Playing the piano really relaxes and invigorates me. :)

mestr12 Since my phone has a caller ID, I would check out the caller and if it is one of family, then I normally would answer the phone but if the number is unfamiliar, then I usually reject the call.
