What are the worst books you've finished?

Julie @movicont (494) • United States 23 Apr 09

What are the worst books that you've actually managed to finish? For me it would probably be Eragon, as I thought the plot was extremely overused and ill-defined. In general though, I don't finish books that deem bad, so my...

theweerouss There aren't many books that I've read completely and haven't liked, but I have to say, Catcher in the Rye was one of the WORST. When people hear that, they usually scoff at me, but I read this book well out of the typical high school reading period, as it was...

Do you feel compelled to point out other's mistakes in spelling and grammar?

Julie @movicont (494) • United States 24 Mar 09

I was just curious---do any of you feel compelled to point out other people's mistakes in spelling and grammar (or, more adequately labeled, be a grammar/spelling nazi)? Sometimes I feel like the mistake is so egregious that I...

stealthy No, I don't; especially not here where typos are so easy to make. I don't even point it out but very rarely, if then, when it involves a pet peeve of mine which is when someone uses "real" when they should use "really" which is a mistake that is far to common,...

crunkyjens I would not cheat as it would not be worth it. And obviously if I felt the need to cheat it would be because I didn't study well enough or do my homework and that's my own fault. If that was the case I should be willing to take the risk of failing, as I would...
