tink91879 If I remember correctly the Mayans did not count the leap years, in fact leap years hadnt been happening yet. Julias Ceasar brought in the leap year in 45BC. So some say that according to the Maya calendar we are ahead and the world should have ended last...

C No I don't believe in it. If you do the correct research you will find out that they just had no more symboles to represent the next set of numbers so they just stop where they where at. That and when you think of it Mayans never counted in time change when we...

chodges17 No other prediction across the world could boast the success of being right about the world ending. Humans are truly obsessed with this topic, but no, the Maya actually have another calendar, recently discovered that is much larger, longer and not ending this...

smacksman Twenty earthquakes take place each day somewhere in the world so that is not much of a prediction! The Mayan world was maybe 100 mile in diameter and their predictions covered what they knew in their sphere of influence. It means nothing in todays...

butterscotsh For me being alive is not being alone. Being with the people I love and doing the things I like doing like swimming, hiking, just not sitting in the chair all day in front of my computer or watching TV. I also feel alive when I'm reading a great book.
