You know the candie's M&M? That is my nickname. I guess my real name is too long and people like it shortend. So since that is my intials, that is what I am called. What do you think of that? Do you have a nick name? What is it, and why are you called that?

I think that is a better nickname than mine. Mine is Bingo and I sang that song so much that the name stayed with me for many years when I was young. Now people call me Fishmomma, as I have so many fish that it would be hard to count them, but sometimes its shortened to FM. A friend told me yesterday that people can start calling me Plantmomma, as she stopped counting after reaching 500 plants in my yard.

Actually, prefer to be called Fishmomma and many of my friends like the short version better. I think its society using less words and more slang. Have a great day M&M.

I think that's cool that your nickname is M&M. I am an M&M fan and like the blue ones. My hubby always make sure that I have some M&M 's here so I can snack on. Ihave a nickname but my hubby is the only one calls me "Beaver" I have no idea why he calls me that and I don't even look like one LOL he has been calling me that for 25 years now.

Did you ever ask him why he calls you that? I think it's cute. Do you like the peanut or plain M&M's?

I think he called me that because of the way I swim it was a dog paddle but he says a beaver so I guess thats why. I have to eat them plain because I am allergic to peanuts.

I love your name, and would not want a nickname if I were you either. Thank you for sharing that. My name is Margieanne. People like to shorten it. They also call me Shadow Lady, because of the art work I do. www.mgcreativearts.com Check it out. Bless you, and have a great day.

I know that candy very well. I didn't know that M&M was your nickname until now. I always thought it stood for you and your partner's initials or something like that. Is margieanneart your whole real name? I think some nicknames are fine but I never could stand any of my nicknames so I won't post them here. I was called different names other than Stephannie because one person could not pronounce my name and another one was just rude.

Yes, M&M is my own initials. And yes, Margieanne is my full first name. I don't mind my nick name. Some people even call me Shadow Lady, as that is the type of art I do. www.mgcreativearts.com website Rudness is mean, and that isn't called for. I'm sorry sugar. Have a great weekend. Thanks for your reply.

I love nicknames especially when they are given with love. My daughter was so tiny when she was born and had such skinny little legs that we called her chook. She is 12 now and although she has a lot of othernick name given by friends and family, I still call her chook and that is our special name. I don't have one though but that's ok because I'm mostly called "mum"

Hi M&M I wondered what exactly the M&M stood for so thank you for explaining this to me and you other friends and members on mylot. I like your nickname. Yes I have a nickname mine is hibiscious the reason my nickname is this is due to I am married to a man from the South Pacific and I dress up in lovely dresses with flowers on them and sometimes when going dancing then I wear a flower in my hair and so this is what my friend call me.

That is so funny. I used to work at a place were there were four of us with the same first name. That was difficult. The owner finally gave me a nickname since I had been there longer than the rest I got the best nickname. LOL I no longer work there and I no longer use the nickname.

M&M - my cousin's hubby works for them! I don't have a nickname. Sometimes I wish I did. I have given myself the nickname "Pipsqueak" for a few reasons. One is that I am quite short. The main reason is that people have a habit of talking over me. So then I look at my hubby and say "squeak". He knows what I am talking about then.

That's a nice nickname you have! Yes I have a nickname. I also have nick name not because my name is long to remember but it's just a name my mom used to call me since I was a child. So now my family and my friends call me by that nickname (mel).

Hi my friend. I like your nickname very much and wondered where you got it from but now I know. :-) I love the candy M & M's. :-) I have had several nicknames in the past with the main one being KG. My coworkers at the bank called me that all the time. It is my first and my middle initials. There is a basketball player nicknamed KG as well. In high school I was called a Rebel. I would wear Hawaiian button down shirts to school instead of a regular buttoned down shirt.

M&M is a sweet name. My mother once called me Sadie. Not sure why. She also called me Grace. That wasn't because I was graceful. I could and still do, trip over a hair in the carpet!

I think that's a cute nickname. My nickname is "sissy" or "sis". My brother always called me sissy growing up so everyone else did too. Now he calls me sis (he's 19) and so do other people. So if I'm in the room and someone says "hey sissy" or "hey sis" then I know they are talking to me.
