Just a week a go, this same day an accident happened at home. I recieved a text message from my younger sister seeking for help since mother kept crying because she cant see. What happened was that some one was cutting bamboo and mother is just near got hit and the left eye was a ffected. We thought it was just a mere foreign object but, I was shocked tot hear that theres a surgery needed. This was the first incident like this in our family and surely I tried to be strong and tried to calm down for the sake of my mother and sister. The surgery needed a cash deposit and I didnt have the source of the money but God really works in miraculous ways and He gave us what we needed for the operation. It took 45 minutes for the the operation to complete and Im thankful that God guided the doctors and the people in the hospital. Now theres another operation for the cataract next month and we are getting ready and still praying that things would be great. God is in control.

I'm glad your family was able to find the money to get your mother the care she needed! I hope that she heals quickly and well, and that the surgery was a success. I also hope the cataract surgery goes well. My grandmother's have both had that done, and they both are extremely pleased with their results.

Sorry to hear about your mother's operation. Is her eye ok now? That's life, as long as we have faith, miracles do happen. Having said that, it does not mean we sit there and wait for miracles to happen. Perhaps that's how god works - help those who help themselves when they are desperate.

Yes, it was really an accident that we never expected to happen. It was also a blessing in disguise coz we found out that the left eye has a cataract that needs to be operated.

Good thing your mother was able to go through the first operation well... i remember when my mother had to go through an operation to have her ovaries removed because of some tumor... but that was like 9 years ago... and now everything is fine... so i am sure that with your love, support and faith... your mother will be able to survive any operation to come her way...

Hi Zelmarq! I am sorry to learn that your mother has to go through that a year ago but I am equally glad that everything turned out alright. I do believe that God will always make a Way for each and everyone of us. I do believe that God is in control. But I must be honest with you that sometimes, I doubt if He is looking my way and wonder how come He helped others immediately and with me, I have been waiting for His help for more than ten years now. I know I have no right to question Him since I know He knows what is good to all of us all. I am just being envious somehow to others who have answered prayers but at the same time I am genuinely happy for them that their prayers were answered. Take Care and God Bless! Happy Mylotting!

Those were the times that we are helpless and just lean on God in times of trouble. IT was one of the times in my life when i have surrendered all to God and I lift everything to him even my worries. During the operation I shared the gospel to the three health aides but only one of them accepted, its something that we can lift all to God and still obey his great commision to share the gospel to those who are not yet christians.

The second operation was also successful, they doctor made a great job making mother comfortable and took really good care of her.I praise God for His works in our lives, making it all possible. Though I didnt have much sleep for I was really worried for the past days before the operation, I still thank God for I was able to sleep well last night. Prayer is the only communication we have t God when we are left helpless in situations in our lives, and God is faithful to help us in those times in our lives and we just have to put our trust in Him. Thank you and have a nice day!

Yes, you know there are things in our lies that is beyond our control and we just have to trust to God everything and everything will be ok. In helpless situations we can trust God and lean on Him for our needs, just cast our burdens to Him and He will take care of the rest.
