I have given up white stuff and read labels on everything. I tried some soy products in the past but now avoid it like the plague. For many people it slows and can actually destroy the thyroid and my Doctor told me to avoid it now that my thyroid is slow.
I do enjoy a piece of dark chocolate now and then it is the only thing that I generally eat with sugar in it. I make a wonderful full fat cheesecake that I LOVE. You see when you cut out the sugars and starches your body BURNS the fat.
And I am a true carnivore, but I also eat tons of veggies and fruits. No more twinkies for me; but really can make a sugar, white flour free version iof I wanted to. At at almost 60 I am very healthy.
I follow a Protein Power way of life.

My favorite would be fruits, I think it's one of the most delicious healthy foods you can get; plus it's all natural. I also like cereals, i eat them like chips. Then there are health bars - those with whole grains and oats. I also like having oatmeal and raisin/chocolate chip cookies.
