Help children in an orphanage

I make it a point to visit orphanages ever year or sometimes twice or thrice a year. These kids are so happy when someone comes to meet them and spend some time with them. Its not always about giving them gifts or something to eat. Sometimes some good and kind words also help a lot. Do you have something nice to say to these small kids most of whom may not even know me. I will read your message out to them when I meet them.

We also go to visit different orphanages every once in a year before christmass. We spend time with this kids, share moments with them and encourage them with inspirational stories. Our monies and presents are not more important than staying with them for some hours, playing games and allowing them to show their talents to us. The only message I can give you to take to them is this " Everything happens together for good for those who love the Lord", that God loves and takes care of them those who dont have parents, so them being orphans is according to Gods plan and for the better. God took their parents because they were the best he could get.

That is a very noble effort my friend, and I wish that we had orphanages near where me and my fiance live, because I know I would want to go visit them and give them some words of encouragement and I am sure that my fiance would agree with me,and I am sure sometimes words are better than material things and I guess I would say to tell the kids that they are someone and to never lose hope because they will make something of themselves one day.

I think if we all make the effort to help those who are less fortunate than us the world would be a better place. Have seen some children really come up in life and some who have not taken advantages of the kindness offered to them. Will be going to the orphanage next weekend to spend the day there.

i visit an orphanage or an old age home with my family on my sons birthdays and our wedding anniversary..i prefer having a birthday party at the orhanage where the children can also enjoy some games and snacks..we cannot afford too much but i also carry some rice, pulses, fruits and sweets..we carry some small gifts for the children just anything that can make them smile ..it gives me satisfaction though it is a very small deed..

We do not have to be rich to visit orphanages. Just sharing a cake and some sweets with these children makes them very happy.

Orphanages are not the norm here in the States. Most children will be places within a family unit, "Foster-Care" with "Foster Parents" and hopefully have as good a life as being in a functional family. My message to them, is to let them know that they are loved and remembered. Regardless of their current situation, they are in the thoughts and hearts of many, many people all around the world. Thank you for doing this, it makes me feel warm inside and it is truly honorable, what you are doing by visiting these children and giving them hope.

At times when kids loose their parents their immediate family members very often do not take the responsibility of loooking after the kid. These kids then end up in orphanages.

We can help these kids in our own way. Sometimes if we are not able to visit them we can do so financially as you do and simultaneously we can keep praying for them.

Tell them that it's ok to be an orphan. Work hard keep their eyes turned toward God and in the Eternities all their suffering will be rewarded. And yes there is a Santa Clause.
