I have a comforter. It is warm and light not heavy like a blanket and I just love it.

I haven't ever had a bed cover, I think those are for the wealthy.
I have a super fuzzy thick blanket that I got at the Salvation Army as part of our Christmas and a comforter.
I love my covers, just ask anyone around here.

We have a feather down comforter, too. It is so comfy. Only problem is that it gets so hot under there, especially in the summer. We recently bought a duvet cover to use instead. I used it for about 3 days and went back to my comforter. It just wasn't as soft and fluffy! I missed it. I guess I have to deal with the heat.

We have comforters. I think they are relaxed, just like my hubby. I do not have any special one, but several. They stay on the bed when we sleep. On top of the flannel sheets and the electric bed warmer.

None of the above for me right now.
I had a quilt at one time, but then someone else in my family wanted it. I had a comforter before too (and I'm not quite sure what the difference is on a bedspread).
But currently, I only have a blanket. Two blankets actually. Because they're short blankets so I have one that covers my feet up to my waist and another covers my waist to my shoulders.

My wife and I each have our own feather down comforters. Neither one of us share very well. We both like to get all wrapped up in our comforters. The comforters are cool and the summer and warm in the winter. They always seem to be the right temperature, and they are so comfortable to snuggle up in.

We have a bed spread, we've been living in warm places so its all summery looking. Now we've moved to a cooler climate and it will be getting cold soon so I guess we had better get a comforter. I do sleep with a blanket cause when the wind blows around here you feel it all the way to your bones.
