Weird huh?

Weird Piercing - piercing

When I was in living in Switzerland I visited the local body piercing parlour to have my nose pierced. The man that did the piercing had piercings in his collar bone area. I later went to a tattoo convention just to have a look and they were doing piercings there. I saw the same man there but minus his piercings on his collar bone so I asked him why he had taken them out and he jokingly replied that his shirt collar kept on rubbing. He most certainly wasn't a shirt and tie kinda guy LOL . Where is the weirdest piercing been that you have ever seen? Have you had a piercing in a weird place?

Back Piercing - A girlfriend of mine piercing on her back
I personally like piercings. I really can't say that I have seen any weird piercings as they were obviously pierced for a reason. I have seen some different places that you wouldn't really think of doing yet things like noses, tongues, lips, ears, eyebrows stuff like that are all normal. How are they so different than say the collar bone. Picture I have included is a picture of one of my girlfriends that pierced her back to make art out of it.

Yes it was done all in one sitting plus the weaving of the dreamcathcer.

Hi ya nicholejade Ok it is not necessarily weird to have piercings in different places as it is unusual and maybe I should have used that word instead! Sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone. That picture is amazing she had it all done in one sitting? Thanks for your response

The weirdest and most bizarre and offputting piercing for me is when people have their tongues pierced, that is horrid, sorry but I can't bear to look at someone when they are talking and their tongue is pierced, that has got to be painful and cumbersome for sure, why do people do it? I am sure they lisp too! What is the point and where is the sense in getting your tongue pierced? The only piercings I have is both my ears, my upper right ear and my eyebrow which I don't have in any more because of the gym etc and I kept knocking it out when I was wiping the sweat away off my forehead. Some guys even have their privates pierced and that is enough to bring tears to your eyes!

Hi there wolfie I too had my eyebrow pierced but it has grown over now as I took it out over 14 years ago or so now because I was getting maried! I also took my nose ring out and the peircing in the top of my ear all for the sake of love!! I have now re-pierced my nose but on the opposite side and I love it and will take it out for no one!. I once dated a guy who had his thinging pierced and he showed me the size of the ring, it was huge and really wieghty. He said it didn't hurt when they pierced it but I'm not so sure! Thanks wolfie

Hi AbbeyB I nearly got my tongue pierced before but the shop was shut for a few days and I had the week off work and wanted to have it done early in the week so I would be ok when I went back to work, so I ended up getting my nose pierced instead. I still would love to have it done but no longer have the nerve!!

I visited tatoo parlours in Blackpool but I went there out of mere curiosity. I was not enticed to do one myself. I have seen students piercing in tounges, bellies, ears etc. the usual place i guess. But on the tv. I saw a woman doing one piercing in her ....you know where.... I don't think that I need to express myself more clearly. I wonder how she pees without hurting herself.

Hi ronaldinu I knew a woman who had her 'you know pierced' and she said it didn't hurt to wee after it healed but she did eventually take it out because it annoyed her and she also said it was very painful to pierce! Thanks for your response

I think that when people have the back of their neck laced up with piercings, that is just weird! The worst thing I've seen though would have to be a split tongue!

I didn't even think about eating like that. Good point! My first thought was, it would be nearly impossible to play the harmonica like that!

Hi there Pigglies Yeah a slit tounge has gotta be one of the weirdest things and it must be pretty tricky to eat like that huh? Thanks for your response

i know i'm a little late responding to this discussion but i didn't get the chance to do it when you first posted it and this is an interesting topic so here i go... i have never really seen any weird piercing. of course when i was little any piercing other than the ears would be considered weird but nowadays nothing is really weird. i really like nose rings on girls, they look really cool and show that they're free spirited. so you must be a free spirit like me. but i don't have any piercings 'cos my family is very conservative and they would freak out if they saw me with any type of piercing. if i had it my way i would at least get my ears pierced.

Hi ya aidenw Better late than never I say!! Maybe you could have a piercing where your family wouldn't see it! Call me weird but I like it when a man has his nipple pierced but just a nice plain ring not something that looks barbaric if you know what I mean. I don't like those piercings that make like a huge hole. Thanks for your response aidenw

I've seen piercings gauged in the ear and thought that was weird. Another one was in the chin, right under the lip. I guess I'm not that original when it comes to weird piercing places. The only place I'll pierce is my ears, and I've already done that. I never wear earrings so I don't really see the point.

I think piercings are fab and you do get some odd ones now but the good thing is you can simply take them out, I have several of them including my tongue, belly, ears, nipple and did have my nose done. My son has just had his nipples and willy done! I saw someone who had one on the back of their neck once that was abit strange.

Hi there AbbeyB I love to see a man with his nipple pierced but with a ring not like a bar, I think it is really sexy. I so nearly had my nipple pierced last year but the desire passed with no one local to do it! Thanks for your response

I guess piercings are so common that you have to put them somewhere odd for them to mean anything, these days...but then who gets to see them?

Hi ya Davidarich Yes I suppose you are right, but then I don't think I would have a piercing in a place where I couldn't see it and appreciate it! Thanks for your response

I don't think there is a weird or uncommon place to be pierced anymore. when I was alot younger and first herd of the nipple piercings I figuerd that was kind of weird but that was then. Now its just a free for all, nothing and nowere off limits.

as a person that has pierced myself so many times that i can't remember the number, i find that the wierdest place that i've pierced myself is the throat. there's some loose skin there that i stabbed a needle through. other then that the one's that i really want are the one's on the back of the neck. they look so cool. and the biggest draw for me is that most people dont have them. i look for ideas on the internet and see how many people have them and then i go with that the fewer people that have the peircing the better it is for me. the problem with the neck is that i cant get the needle to go in strait so i dont try. i cant do it myself. i dont trust most other piercers either. ive also pierced my wrist about five times all of which rejected and i've also pierced my thumb with a safty pin.

I love tattoos and piercings, but some of them make me cringe when I think of how painful they must have been to have done! I know a guy who has the 'web' of his left hand pierced, that little triangle of skin at the inner base of the thumb. I could never understand the point of that, he just used to keep getting things trapped in it. I think he pulled the piercing out accidently about five times while it was healing.

Hi there randomosity_prevails Ahh man that must have hurt. I think it would look pretty cool but really inpractical especially as people tend to use their hands so much. Did you see the picture I included? That must have really hurt! Thanks for your response

I don't like piercings that much. But the weirdest place i have eve seen (since i haven't seen many) Would be the eyebrow. Yeah i know thats a normal spot now days. but for me it is kinda weird. I cant figure out why anyone would have an eyebrow pierced. But oh well. That pic you have makes me cringe. The only thing i have pierced are my ears and i plan to keep it that way. lol

I haven't any piercings anywhere, even my ears have closed up due to lack of wearing earings. A friend once told me that our boyfriend had the tip of his ***** pierced!!!

Tattoos and piercing have become so common that they have become a sign of conformity. You do not fit in without one or the other. The weirdest think I have seen in person was some guy walking down the street with safety pins through his nipples. They looked like regular safety pins so I think he must of done it himself, that must have hurt.
