ciao deleted my account today. They gave me a reason that, i have copied some review from some other sites. Yes, it was true, but i didn't copied all my reviews, they should warn me first and then if i found guilty then only should delete my account. I was very near to my payout. just some cents remained. What do u think guys?? will they start my account again??? I dont have any hope that they will reopen my account. Did any one else face the same problem?? What should i do to save my account?? help me out guys. Any ways, mylot is always best..

no offence but i think they did the right thing as they can easily get into legal complications if they are hosting reviews from other places. The warning is in their terms and conditions i think so there is no way you can get back your account. Learn from the mistake you have made and honour terms of others please. Maybe you can open a new account, maybe!

But be careful when you start a new account.Try to write reviews in your own words. It is alright to refer to some article but you cannot copy it.That is understood in all review sites. It is better to make drafts of many reviews and add on and publish only when you are happy with it, before publishing it.Because most of the reviews are of the poorest quality and have no content and are badly written..

Hey there, try sending them an email. But I think you breached the conditions when you plagiarized. It's a serious offense so I don't think they will pay you for the legitimate reviews. In theory, they have to, but they've probably stated it clearly in the terms and conditions. i hope this will serve as a warning to you-never ever plagiarize! Work hard and keep it clean. :)

usually if any account is deleted it will not be restored again and if you are facing this it is really difficult and the chances are nill to restore your account and i dont think that you will be able to open a new account also as your ip address may reveal that it is you again opening a new account and writing there so i dont think that you have any chances to work there again. but why do you want to speak to one site itself there are more sites where you can earn like mylot.

Oh! :( Sorry to know that. Copy/Pasting is against their TOS and they make us agree every time we write a review. But, basically they should've first warned rather than deleting the account without notice. Try contacting the support team if that would do some help. If not, go ahead with a new account and never copy/paste. All the best for your new account. :)

I don't think they should have to give you a warning. With any job they get to set the terms and conditions of their work environment, and if you don't like it, to bad. And I read in one of your earlier responses that you didn't realize. Well that's a part of it too. It's online self-employment. You gotta take the time to read through and understand exactly what they want from you. There's no one going to sit you down and tell you what to do like at a normal job.

Sad to hear but it already happened. That might be a lesson not only to yourself but to everybody. Well... keep on moving, anyway there are still several legitimate earning sites out there where you can likewise earn from it.

I don't say I told you so a lot, but really what did you expect. How hard is it to come up with a 120 word review, I've written 19 of them today with no problem. Why would you need to copy them from other sites, and if you did why would you think you would not get caught? They probably run everything through copyscape and they are used to people trying to scam them. Next time you have an opportunity to join a site like ciao don't break copyright and try to screw them over.

Warn you first? Don't they say something about this in the tos? Is that way of doing things really honest? Is that how others are working too? Do you feel what you did was fare? If everyone does that sort of thing then what kind of system is it?

The same thing happened to me but I did not copy. When I sent them to tell me were I had copied, they said then that I had an another account. the truth was that I did not have another account but my daughter who lives in the same house had an account two months before and had got banned, I did not know that she had applied at ciao and registered for an account myself.Because our ip address was the same and our surnames were the same and we even have the same initials, they said thatI had two accounts which was not true at all. I was very frustrated because I had done 66 reviews and had already asked for payout.I sent them various e-mails but they did not want to consider opening my account again. for me this was very unfair as there is no where written that you cannot have two accounts in one household, there is only written in the tos that if a person get banned he cannot use the site, but they kept on saying that me and my daughter were the same person. I feel that I lost my account very unfairly and once they say you have violated the rules you can't do anything! So I do not think there is much to do my friend, I speak from experience!

I think no warning is necessary, because it is clear in the Terms of Service that you cannot any review. Even if you copied only a few, it was a clear violation of the ToS in Ciao. It's too bad this has to happen in order for you to learn the lesson of plagiarism. The next time, try to review on something that you have experienced before hand so you won't be tempted to copy. Cheers~

Hello, sad to hear that, but i guess they should not warn you before. In my opinion they already warned you in their TOS, that you accepted when you signed in ciao. Rules are rules, if you accepted some rules, there is no reason to warn you that you gone against the rules. Is your own duty respect them. best wishes.

It states in the rules that you cannot copy and paste any information. I just signed up for Ciao yesterday and went on to write a review and found one of mine that had been written on another site and was copied and pasted word for word by another user on Ciao. So I have to say I am happy they are keeping up with this and actually deleting accounts that are violating the rules.

Hey, jadhavsiddh, I guess you should be more aware when you are join to be a member in one sites, reading the TOS is really important before you begin. Maybe it is better to you to start to register again. And I hope they want to make you one of their member. Hopefully you success...

Some people have started new accounts only to have the new accounts closed as well. So you may have no luck there. It may even be a violation of the TOS to try and open a new account - perhaps you should read it and find out! And you really can't be upset that people who read the TOS and post legitimately on a site have no sympathy with someone who cheated.

I think if you went against the rules you should face the consequences that come with breaking those rules. You were in the wrong and they weren't in their disclaimer I'm sure it says they can revoke your membership without warning. You were found guilty though you already admitted to it so why should they warn you. And the money that you earned was off of copying others words. Sorry but you pay the piper for what you do. Sorry this happened but I hope you learned your lesson.
