Look at the picture! I took it today, March 10th, 2009.
Yes, bluebonnets, the state flower of Texas. And I took it with my cell phone.
So, all of you guys with cold weather and snow - know, Texas has FLOWERS! and new leaves and all that other good stuff.

All it will take is a day or two and they will be everywhere, though. Weather is just that changeable.I am glad for you to have pretty flowers.

Yes here in Texas we have the good, the bad and the ugly. hahaha Down here in south Texas we do have trees that are somehow trying to get new leaves, we have a ton of pollen and that means allergies and we are in such a horrible drought. We have not had any significant rain here since August. The weather men here are pretty sure we will get some late in the week and into Saturday I think. I have about give up on what they say. LOL
Those bluebonnets are so pretty.

Since the water that's been coming down in buckets is now freezing, and here you are showing flowers, I think that's just cruel and unusual punishment. Better watch it, or I'll send some of the dog's copious amounts of shedded hair (enough to make about 2 dogs) over to you!! lol
Enjoy it while you can, ours is coming soon!

[b]Oh, yeah...as it happens, I deliberately chose a field of bluebonnets for my icon representing Texas, so when I went to your post, I had TWO bluebonnet pix to see!
Thanks for sharing!

Your Bluebonnets are beautiful but I'll take the cold over the illegal aliens any day. We'll have flowers here soon, I just sent for some seeds.

That's true but I've heard if Mexico gets really bad thousands, maybe millions will probably come here.
I didn't come here to pick a fight with you. I would love to visit Texas. I'd love to move away from this cold weather. It gets tiring.
Although I kind of enjoyed all the snow we had this year. The worse part about it all is when it gets below zero for about 2 weeks. Once that's over it's not so bad. It really helps you appreciate spring and summer though.
