I just got home from Bible Study and there was a strange white truck in front of our house and a strange white car at the side at the lane. And I thought "what happened to that black car and the navy car that our neighbors across the street park in front of our house? Ah there they are, parked in front of the house next door. So I walk up the sidewalk, and discover "the Tv is not on!" Now that means one thing, we have visitors from the Church and we turn off the Tv. So here it is two of men from the church, one is a contractor and they had started to look at our bathroom, asked if I wanted an ensuite and of course, I nodded, "yes!" I missed the one we had in Saskatoon, so now they are going to install a easy exit shower and make the bathroom so that we can come in from the bedroom as well as the hallway.
And our queen side beds will be picked up on Friday, and the new ones delivered.
So finally it is all coming together.
And on top of that, when I went to the bank to get money out from my pension check, there was no long line up of little old ladies.

We're waiting for an email from them about the plans. We have a general idea of what we want and they will have to work on how to get it done. I have already cleaned out the closet, so they can start any time.

Lol, that is great. Good luck is shining on you at this time. that is great. I hope it will stay around for awhile till things are done and settled. It is good that the church will do stuff like that for you. I know some that doesn't help out with anything at all.So you are Blessed..

Thanks. It's a good thing that many of our church members are in business for themselves. we have furniture makers, travel agents, store owners, tile makers, publishers, etc.

It sure is. Now I have to put the stuff down in the basement or crowd it all into one room, because not only do I have to have the closet cleared out, but the spare bedroom as well.

How exciting that will be. I know that for a while it may also be inconvenient but you will enjoy the end result immensely. It sounds as if it is the most economical choice for you guys with the help from the church.

Happy renovating. It is fun to renovate as long as you can handle the traffic in the house and of course the mess. It is also exciting to renvate, it is like moving into another house, without all the effort.
I hope the end product is the same as you see in you imagination, that will be a blessing. i have seen sometimes that when the job is done, it does not look like the image you had in your head. Well if you are fortunate, it might even look better...
Blessings

That's wonderful news!! It'll be so much nicer not to have to leave the bedroom to use the bathroom! While you're at it, can you get a toilet that's more like the old ones, the ones that are high enough that you don't hurt your knees sitting down and getting up? It would be helpful if there were rails on either side, too, for your husband.
