If someone choose your response as BR, do you respond back for thanks?

I am not sure if there were new Br in the discussions I've joined but before when I was still so active here I am always responding because I want to appreciate that they took the time to go back in their discussion, then read my response and rate or choose my response as the best. I am glad you did. It's not too late as long as you have good intentions. Take care and happy every day!

Hi sutent, I always respond as a sign of appreciation as they make me smile when I receive them. Also by adding a comment it moves the discussion forward so more people may see it and join in. It doesn't matter if the discussion is older, the new comment may inject new life into it, especially for a discussion which maybe didn't have many responses in the first place.

Well I will rate as best BR if I get good response from anyone. I will straight away rate them if they give me good view or answer. I generally do not respond if anyone choose my respond as best.

if you give me a BR, it will be my first,that is the way of showing someone that you enjoy the response and encouraging the the person at the other end your giving them a nod and a listening ear, a thank you lifts the spirit

Hi sutent, I had receive a few best response and most of the time I will send a thank you post for that. I think I skip one or two because the OP didn't give a comment on all the responses he/she received. Giving a best response also a good practice if you want to revive you old discussion. Once someone give a response/comment to your discussion, your discussion will go on top of your frineds "friends started" tab and "my interests" tab. And your friends might give a response to it if they miss it before. Before this I had one discussion with only received one response. After I give a best response and the that guy posted a thank you post, my discussion received 5 additional responses. That is a good thing.

Hi sutent The first time I had that I was not sure what it meant so I did not respond, now I respond to the posters that choose my post I think we all should do that

I always respond back to the starter of the discussion and say thank you as much as possible. It what we called courtesy. Even if I don't know him/her its still nice to say thank you for selecting my response as the best response in that certain discussion.

I used to but don't anymore, that why my star is an eight! I don't know why I quit doing that! tdemex

Hi Sutent, Most time I replied back and said thanks to the person who marked my response as best answer. It is good us and makes other person happy.

I do have a few responses as BR by members of this website. when i got the notice i was surprised because i was not very confident with my work here. I was really pleased to know it and really felt appreciated the members. However i did not say thanks. after i read your topic and i realised i made mistakes about it. thanks for your reminding and i'm sure i will do my best to thank the members who give me the BR reward, if i still can get one. happy mylotting.

Hi Sutent, Aside from the earnings, a BR is probably one of the sweetest rewards a myLot member can get. Personally, I respond to discussions simply because they appeal to me, or I have something to share about the topic, or I just want to leave a post. Getting a BR is always a welcome surprise. It makes me happy knowing that my response was chosen best from among all the responses. In return, I never forget to thank the member who gave it to me, it's my way of showing my appreciation.

Yah,eversince i joined mylot,and thu i was just new in this site and i never knew so much about this site becoz a friend who invited me seldom come online here nowadays,i always say thanks when my responce is being rated with BR...i never missed to say my thanks.

I too respond. It is very flattering to receive such comment. It is all the more nice, if it is not a friend who does it. :-) I mean a friend is a friend. So he or she will be biased may be. But if other people read through the comment, and give it the best reponse, or even just appreciate it, it feels great. I do try to read other's opinions, and replies by the person who starts the discussions. I found some very sweet responses. I am glad I have also been at the receiving end of such courtesies. :-)

Hi sutent, You are correct. By commenting your discussion during the time where more myLotters are active will make you receive more responses as your discussion came back to the recent tab again. Also, it is nice to acknowledge some one who gives us the best responses. I am new to myLot. But if i get any Best response reward, i will always say thank you to them and also i will send them friend request to them if they are not my friend before. I love to make friends. I sure would respond with a thanks, especially since they were generous enough to choose my response as the best response, i'd be happy.

Its always nice to receive a response even if its not marked as the BR. I always try to respond to everyone who comments on my topics; sometimes its a bit difficult when you have many, but I do it as long as the topic is current.

hi sutent! i just did receive my first "best response" yesterday. upon learning about it, i immediately acknowledged and replied on the post. i was so happy for receiving one and looking forward to receiving more best responses and of course increase and maintain my star...my reputation in mylot! more best responses to come!!!

Hi,I have so far not received a BR. Some times I feel I have a given a very good response. When ever I log in I just check whether I have got any BR. But So far I have not got any. If ever I get one certainly I will thank and respond to the persons discussions or comments Happy mylotting
