And having done all my mylot notifications, and it was after 3 a.m., I decided to do the "Freekibble" triva question.
I know I'm bad, I only do the cat question http://www.freekibblekat.com/ I should do both, but there I am...
Anyway, the question today was what cat is the longest - I won't tell you and spoil it, but that made me think of when I was younger.
My mom had a cat named Suky - big silver tabby. I once measured her when she was stretched out sleeping and she was over a yard long - like almost a meter. Now, this was from nose to tail and, like I said, she was STRETCHED out.
I don't know how big Booboo is, he's our biggest cat now, but he's probably pretty close to that, or maybe even longer.
Have you ever measured your cat or dog? How about your snake?

Yes, I did that freekibble.com question yesterday as well. I didn't get the cat one right I don't think. I can't remember for sure. In my favorites, the freekibble side with the dog trivia is bookmarked. Afterward, I answer the cat question. I got the freekibble dog question right though. One for two.

No, I've never measured a cat, but I know that they can get incredibly long when they want.

You'll have to sneak up behind him when he's stretched out in the sun.

no,but i should measure my tux..he's a pretty long cat.
he likes to sleep sometimes in what we call the "worm" position-all limbs stretched out,and it looks really weird
i'd never seen a cat do that before him.

need to post a pix of it!
Maggiepie's cat has a kind of strange position she gets into, she likes to do it on the corner of the bed, but I've seen her do it on the floor too.
She spreads her front legs out, but they are still tucked in the "loaf" position and then she has her head stretched out between them, on the bed she will hang her paws off either side of the corner of the mattress and have her head on the corner

No never measureed the cats. I have three of them and one to me is really long. I tend to go through my emails all day though I cant keep up anymore. I have so many of them I seem to forget what is what. I know my one cat has to have a pretty long length. I would say at least almost 1foot and a half! Take care friend nice seeing your discussion take care:)

I never measured my cats or dogs before. Think I used to with my first dog but only height, not length. I should just to see how long they are. Domingo has a super long tail and he does look like he could be pretty long.

Honestly I've never thought about measuring out our cats. I suppose why not, they do that with people & other things. Now you have me curious how much length our husky kitty has on him.

[b]Wow, Elic, thanks for telling me about this!
I went there, played a game for the cats (& the dogs) to get kibble. I don't think you can play more than once a day, so I signed up yo get their daily reminder. You know me, always ready to help feed the fur-people! ^..^

I have had many different kinds of animals at home, but I have never tried to measure how long were they.
My cat probably was long, but not as long as yours ^^U
