For those who had listened to me vent my frustration about my web designer. Well after this entire episode with this rouge manager, I am beginning to lose focus on my goals. My website have been delay and all the wonderful plans been shelved. Just an update, I have gone to the authorities regarding and waiting for a hearing next week. I hope this would be over soon so I can go about do the things I want to do. Now time for me to pick up the pieces, and hopefully I can get it done soon. I am also thinking of punishing their business by writing to a newspaper forum. What do you think?

Well the thing is not about time, cobrayogesh. The thing is about service, they told me the would be able to meet me on monday, so I turn away my appointments, however they did not show up and did not even call or drop me a message. then come tuesday, wedneday and friday. How many times must I suffer before it is alright for me to bad mouth about them?

Hi iwrite!! I think that would really be a great idea. People like those will continue doing the thing they did to you if you don't report them. They are just so lenient and they think that they can always get away with the things that they have done!! I hope that the case would be pretty successful so that they would learn their lesson and not mess with you. Good luck~!!

Do you know what the sale manager said to me, yresh12 He said " If I want to get refund, it would be a waste of time, many of his former clients tried but failed." Man this really got me upset, if more people before man have taken action I would not be in this situation.

Wow the sales manager is thick face!! I think he's been doing that a lot of time base on what he said. Well you can't blame some who think that they wouldn't be given justice if they complain. I hope you would and it would be successful so that you would be the voice for those they have also scammed. I wish you well my friend and that manager should be punished and banned in that line of business..

Actually I agree with you that some action needs to be initiated against people who do such things. But then the key thing for you is to ensure that your life does not get stuck on this one episode. Life is much larger than a single incident and you need to look at it in the bigger perspective. I think if you start feeling that you are beginning to lose focus in your life, then it is the time to close the chapter, take a break from the current activities, and come back and start afresh. That does not mean let the crooks go free, you can continue to write on forums, newspapers etc., but let it not be your prime focus. All the best!! Cheers! Ram PS: Never take life seriously, you will never come out of it alive!!

U sue the company?!?! SO serious?? Dun let that small hiccup along the way, affect u that much, and dun ever lose hope when things are not running smoothly!! Those obstacles will only make u stronger, and add on as experience for u ^_^ The harder things come by, the more one will cherish it, and work even harder to see more results right?? hehe U should do anything u can, to make the company look bad, posting it on stomp, youtube, facebook, wherever, just to spread their bad name.. haha

I certainly appreciate your anger but as someone else here has said get some advice before you post any negative comments about the company. I have heard of folks who regretted doing such a thing when they were sued themselves! If you want to take this action get some professional advice and be very careful. I would rather sue them and take them to court and obtain victory that way!

Take my advice if you want to. I do this everytime I feel that I am heading the wrong directions and making bad decisions in my life. Sit in a quiet place, try to relas. Think of all the bad things that happened and find the reasons why this things happened. Write them in a paper. In each bad thing that happened item write a solution or an action that will make this things better. Read them. Relax and say a little prayer. Take a deep breath and say this ten times or even more. " I will do better and I will get my life back on track." You will start feeling positive right before you finish repeating the sentences ten times. I feel good eveytime I do this. It's like I'm starting all over again. I hope this routine will work out for you too.

JOIEMARVIC, I have played the situation over my mind many times, I asked myself if I am angry or emotional, the answer is still yes. However I still one to ensure people do not want others to suffer the same fate and hopefully they would be able to up their service. mynestegg I have ask for the authorities to help me claim back my money. I just hope they would learn their lesson, now I just wonder should I tell me story so people would get to know about them and their bad service.

Hi Joie, I know the advice isn't for me, but I enjoyed reading it. I think it can apply to anyone. Thank you so much for sharing. And iWrite, don't let those sort of people get to you. Don't waste your energy on negative things. Negative vibes invite more bad things to happen. Just "keep passing the open windows" Good luck

My only advice is to be very careful before you put anything in writing, especially if it's on a public forum. I have seen people burned doing this, even when they were right. Good luck.

Well mipen2006, After what they have done and it seem they have not realized their mistake and still going down that path. I do not want to break their rice bowl but I do not want to see others get cheated too. That is why I have not take actions yet. I also found out their business is not longer registered, so I think they have idea to run away.

I have went to the authorities, the small claim tribunal to claim my money back but it is not the money I worry about, I do not want others to get cheated. I would like to write to forum so that others would be aware of what they do.

I would do that and write an online review. I think there is an option under the business search where you can do that. I hope that you get this resolved soon..I know it's been a huge hassle. Just try to stay focused on the big picture.

Venting over something that is frustrating is not always a bad thing, It does help to let go of emotions we are holding onto that need to be dealt with. Goals are a good thing to have, but every so often we may need to re-evaluate them to see if they are still feasible so that we can stay focused. I have visited your website and it looks good to me. Good luck.

That's good that you're taking action, standing up for yourself. Companies like that probably walk over their clients all the time because most people keep quiet. I say write a review about the service you've received in as many places as you can find - better business bureau, online review sites, etc.

Well, if there is no way that you can report this company that has done you wrong to the better business bureau, then I think that I would take the approach of writing an editorial about your experience to the local newspaper. It won't make things right for you, but it would be doing a service to other people in that they will know better than to make the same mistake that you've made. In the mean time, I hope that you are able to pick up the pieces and move on.

I felt that going to the business bureau does not warn others about what is happening. I think it is sad, for if other have done it I would not be in the same situation I am in. Frustrated.

How frustrating it must have been for you to go through all these. Glad to hear you are picking up the pieces to move on because that's what you should. If it does benefit lots of people from the newspaper forum the public should be informed. Hope this would serve as a reminder to many who would otherwise take customer services for granted.

I think you should write some articles, blogs and letters about this experience. I think you were really scammed and this company needs to be brought down. People need to know about such things. How to know a reputable company for that type of work. You could help future people not have to go through all of this.

Hiya iwrite, Have to agree with edward who has posted down here on one point to focus my attention on something else. Take the thorn which is the web designer out of your system and focus on what you love doing the most. I would not waste my precious energy on this person altogether. It is good to give vent to your frustration with that person but not too make it an everyday thing. It is annoying of course it is but it´s more depleting to give this guy more energy than anything else. In the end he wins and you don´t so give your energy to your own things. This is just an observation. I could have vented my anger ages ago on something that most people would have taken to looking for lawyers advise on what to do. I just did not bother as everything was against me from the word go. But I was angry, very angry when I read what I read and realized the outcome. So instead I turned the boat around and headed the other way I just let it be. You don´t have to fall in love with that person who has caused you so much loss of money and time but hey don´t give into him either see him as something of the past. Maybe in a few weeks time you can see things more clearly. I really feel for your loss of money and time too. Those things hurt I know they do. Just let it go for a while if you can don´t sit on your temper either. Gradually you will calm down I think. Take care now.

Hiya iwrite, Yes I know that feeling. I thought I had forgiven a situation of something that happened ages ago and when a similar situation came up the feelings came back again not quite the same but almost the same. However I did deal with it better than the last time. It was not a pleasant situation this time but if it happens again now I know what´s coming. However I have forgiven this situation that has happened too and I find a lot of other People have suffered this situation in the same way so sometimes it´s good to find out that it´s a general thing it makes you feel like you are not the only one.

I say you should go for it. If it helps to vent a bit on the people or business responsible for your problems, then do it. After you may find that you will be able to find your focus again without all the other stuff in your head blocking your thoughts. Good Luck.
