Lions and Tigers and ... catnip?

Ohhhhh yeaaaah!! They're some HAPPY cats now!! lol That's so cute Elic! Thanks for sharing it with us! I give my cats catnip from time to time, some like it and some don't particularly care for it but the ones who do, go nuts! lol Then afterwards, they act all silly which gives us a lot of laughs watching them.

Maybe it's the brown paper bags they like? So, the entire population at the big cat rescue got stoned, except for the king. How very regal of him. Thanks for the link.

My cats love catnip. I have 2 brothers for housecats. When we pick some catnip outside and bring it in for them they roll all over it, drool, and then horseplay and fight over the catnip. One tries to take it from the other and the battle is on. All in good fun, of course. Neither gets hurt. They are just play fighting. Then, they relax and sleep it off. It is quite harmless and entertaining. One time, my husband came inside, sat on the couch, and our black cat, "Bear", came over to his legs and smelled the catnip on his pants. He was hugging his legs, and rubbing and clawing it a bit, too. We got the hint that he liked it so much, so we went outside and picked some catnip for the both of them to have.

Oh that's cool, just like any other kitty. :D

The video was so cute! It is easy to forget they are deadly wild animals. They look so cuddley and cute. The wild animals reacted pretty much like ordinary cats do. The lion was especially funny. He looked like he was to regal to enjoy anything that the regular cats do.

I think from the looks of this video, they like it better than my cats do. I will make a note to self not to wear catnip scented perfume when visiting the zoo.

Oh that's brilliant! They're all so beautiful and cute! The movements are just like those of my little cats when they get catnip, only scarier and deadlier! I wouldn't risk blowing raspberries on one of their tummies though, no matter how sorely I'm tempted! I love that there's this video of all these big cats enjoying themselves and then at the very end there's the lion who's like, "Yeah... And?"

I am still smiling at the looks some of them gave the paper bag as if to say lets get rid of that icky stuff and get to the catnip wow. some of them rolled and played just like my cats used to do. So oh yes they love that catnip lol lol.

Enjoyed that! I love any kind of cats and I love watching them; they all loved that catnip except for proud Joseph! I loved the similarity in behaviour with my own domestic kitties; they can tell they are all from the same feline family! Isn’t it incredible how much they love that stuff, does it get them high or something?

That was very interesting! All the big cats wnet for the catnip! Most of them couldn't get enough of it,like Zeno the Leopard! The first big cat,Tiger named Alex was interested but as more big cats were shown the more and more the cats loved it! I know they are big cats but it reminded me of their smaller cousins the domestic cat! It was intersesting to end the video by showing Joseph the Lion wasn't interested in it at all! Just shows not every cat loves catnip!
