Sitting in the living room to night chatting with a friend, thinking that the children were in bed.One of my sons came running downstairs saying there is water every where. My friend gave my husband a helping hand mopping up the water all over the bathroom floor, as well as water through the ceiling down stairs.Three loo rolls in the loo and that is how it was flooded.Dont you just love children.

Hiya jugs, Once my eldest was always leaning on the Sink when we were living in someone elseĀ“s House and in due time as he kept leaning with his full weight on it as it was a game to him the pipe broke at the back and the Water came spurting out the top and all over the place. Luckily we were on a Ground Floor Flat so the only thing I had to do was mop up a very flooded Bathroom and calm down a very frantic Son of my mine. Since then he has never leaned on any kind of Sink. I love the story about the Toaster those children did well to think of the themselves, their safety and their Mom and their House.

Oh no that sounds bad, lol.It is all the water that takes the time to clean up when a child do it.I think that there are lots of children that play with water and do not realise the amount of time, trouble as well as the damage that they can cause sometimes.

Hi. jugsjugs. Yes, we have to love them! My kids are twice as bad as this at times. My kids tend to go into the bathroom and fill their cups up with water. I tell them not to do this, because they have to fill their cups up in the kitchen sink. I can't stand when they would do this to me. I would have been so mad if my kids had water all over the floor, especially if the floor was flooded with water.

Thankfully i have laminate flooring in my bathroom, so my husband found it easy to get the water up.Shame that the water was going through my ceiling as that made more mess.Thankfully all sorted and cleaned up now.I would not mind if it had been abit of water, but it was flooded. My boys soak loo roll and then throw it up on the ceilings, that is another trick of theirs.

Ooooh I would be so mad. Mine never did that. I hope that they get suitably chastised. They should have had to help clean it up.

My son that done that has adhd, we thought that he was in his bedroom, if not in his bed, how wrong was we.My friend said perhaps he was doing an experiment to see how many the loo could fit in it.

i love children so much. but there are times that you could really lose your temper and sanity. just like your son, our little Zayzay has ADHD, as we suspect he has. he has done a lot of mischievous works and we simply just follow after. one good thing about our house, we don't have the bathroom inside and there's no upstairs that could probably get the waters on the ceiling.

There are times when children can and do drain you of patience as well as energy. My 7 year old has adhd and he is not on no meds at bedtime, so it is really hard to try to keep him on a calm or even get him to sleep.Lets hope he do not flood my bathroom out again, lol.

Oh wow... what a mess that would be to clean up! Never had this type of problem or at least something that bad and that damaging for a house. Wow well I hope you got everything cleaned up and maybe they will not do it again. Well, it's kids so they probably will!

I hope that they will never do it again, we can only hope that they will not repeat what they did.

Children, and upstairs neighbours. I live in the flippin' basement, and if someone's toilet overflows above, it rains into my bathroom, one day right on my head, while I was sitting on my own toilet. AARRGGHH!! And just before I had to go somewhere. I called my Mom, who I was meeting, and asked her for another half an hour, because I had to change, do my hair over again, etc. LOL

Hahaha. Kids are such fun. Everyone I have ever been around has done that, even my own. What is worse is the grown women who manage to flood the office bathrooms. They never seem to know how to turn off the water.

I do love children but wouldn't like them doing that. I imagine if they belonged to me they would be having a hard time sitting down.

He did know that he had done wrong and by the time all the mess had been mopped up he was asleep, well sort of.

Yes, children are ingenious! I have a daughter and I don't remember floodings but she was making surprises too when she was a kid. Now she is 24 and sometimes I wonder if the teenage is really over.

Lol, my oldest daughter will be 19 next month and the younger daughter will be 18 tomorrow, but they act like their younger brothers.Practical jokes are the latest things with both of the daughters, they are eaiser that places being flooded to deal with.

Yep, you gotta love them as there is nothing else that is legal to do with them at times like that. Once I hired a contractor to put a nice new floor in my office and the kid from the upstairs neighbors flooded the loo and all the yuck came down and formed a pool on my brand new floor right after they said to keep water off it for 24 hours. Kids do have a terrific sense of timing.

I don't ever remember my children doing this though I think I may have had to pull out a toy car or two. However my grandson has wrecked havoc on our bathroom many times with many a toilet paper rolls. It is frustrating. When my daughter used to live her and she would give them baths she let them play in the water after a year of her not keeping up on them and the floor our laminate flooring is in need of being replaced. YES I KNOW laminate flooring is bad idea in a bathroom. I did mention this to my hubby. Kids lots of learning experiences. :)

I don't understand kid's fascination of letting toilet paper roll into a toilet as they flush it. I had a nephew visit us once. And when he went to the upstairs bathroom, he started playing with the roll and the toilet flush. So much so that it clogged up the toilet and had the bathroom flooding.

This is such a cute story. I remember flooding the bathroom as well, more than once. I was so scared of getting in trouble when it happened, I didn't say anything and left the house! My dad was so frustrated!
